The old man's doctor, left a nurse behind to monitor him and take care of some little issues. Currently, the old man was on a drip and sleeping in his bedroom which had automatically turned into a VIP room of a hospital.

Jia Li felt as much hurt as she felt for her daughter, for the old man who first showed her kindness amongst the members of the Fu family.

FangSu comforted Jia Li and said, "For the first time in a long time, we didn't have lunch together, not because work took some of us out, but because of a situation like this."

"We will get through this," YingPei said a word of encouragement.

After dropping off some toiletries and clothes for Jia Li since they would be spending a night at the hospital with Jasmine, FangSu left with Fu Hee and YingPei.

Fu Hee comforted Jia Li and Fu Hua before leaving. She said she would return later in the evening with their dinner.
