Even individually, Shade was someone who could play around with most rankers. While the other was a creature of unknown origin, as cute as Noctis was, he was from a place that even the Divine feared, he was a creature of Chaos, the same void that birthed the Primordials.

'It isn't in my best interest to be walking around with Noctis, people may think I'm flaunting, besides there's probably no other player with a pet...perhaps if I had a magic ball to summon him, I could just throw it and be like, Noctis I choose you!'
