Its been a few months since Genesis was available to the players but according to the game, the NPC's were alive for much longer, naturally giving them a huge boost but even with such a huge boost there are still some things even NPC's couldn't achieve, for example passing all 5 floors of the Academy or passing the Phantom or the Legacy trials.
One would think that since Academies exist all over the Kingdom(s) there had to be either an NPC or a player who passed the trials but that wasn't the case, the trials proved to be harder than players expected, for the second trial NPC's or players had to fight and win against a teacher there, of course, NPC's would have an advantage since they were a higher level than the players, some NPC's even managed to cross-level 200.
It was acknowledged that the floors were harder to pass than the Phantom or Legacy trials. The Warriors and the Druids, however, didn't have any such trial as these two classes had an entirely different path to take, Warriors if skilled enough would be required to go to the Norse Kingdom and possibly undergo training there but this was only until the first ascension. The Druids on the other hand were required to go to the Beast Kingdom for training, of course, players weren't happy with this at first but soon they realized KYOJIN didn't really have any reason to hate a specific class.
Classes, be it the Primary 5 or the Hidden 4 were only a major choice until the first ascension, of course, they would play a role after the first ascension as well but the classes they acquire after level 100 were ' more important ', for example, a player who chose the warrior class initially but after his or hers first ascension they choose to learn to smith, they have a good chance to advance their smithing considerably more than their Warrior-skills, perhaps the initial class may act as an enhancer when mixed with another class, a good example of this is the warrior-smithy combination or the archer-smithy combination, the warrior-smithy class would be a good combination due to the STR and VIT stat, of course, this isn't the case with all the warriors, similarly the archer-smithy would be good as well because of the high DEX the archers have.
Players did have the option of sticking to their initial class and strengthening it or perhaps if they're lucky enough they manage to acquire a hidden class related to their original class.
Nate was a prime example of overthinking class selection, initially, he wanted to select the assassin class but somehow he ended up choosing the mage class.
"Sigh, why's this so hard.... MAN, I DONT CARE ANYMORE I'm just going to practice mana manipulation." Nate said before he entered Genesis.
Currently, Nate was level 60 so he had access to the Spatial magic circles that teleported players to personal pocket dimensions where nobody could see what they were doing.
The pocket dimension wasn't too large, there was a red cushion that could be used while meditating and a few targets to practice spells on, the room was covered entirely in white, it somewhat resembled that of a cell but it was serene, and players just needed to chant a spell to exit the space.
"For starters, let's run through everything I've found out so far," he said before reciting his thoughts.
'Mana has no form nor does it have an element, it's a neutral element that is required for casting spells, at least that's what people think, we aren't aware of the anatomy of the players or NPCs, sure, they're similar to humans but when mana circuits are involved there should be something vastly different, of course, mana and blood aren't similar, same goes for mana and energy or even mana and aura, Blood is required for the body to sustain itself, energy is used for the functioning, Aura is the innate 'energy' inside the individual's core that controls the atmosphere around the individual, of course, aura is different from energy.
Just what is mana then? I understand it's necessary for casting spells but what is its real function? If possible I could use mana for anything I desire...desire? mana is desire? mana is desire. ' before he knew it Nate started reciting lines he never knew he could,
"Mana shall bend to my will, mana shall act as a bridge, mana is nature, mana has no one element, forcing only one element upon mana is cruel, an act of sin, mana is present all around us, even in this pocket dimension, I can feel the mana around me. It's different from what I can usually feel...spatial magic? perhaps that is why it feels different but the mana isn't crying out, it's accepting the change, it's acting according to the spell user's desire? the mana that was used to cast spatial magic....I see I understand," Nate slowly began comprehending the Spatial magic used to create the pocket dimension.

"Hmm, who is this kid, what's he doing?"

"HE'S COMPREHENDING THE SPATIAL MAGIC I USED? BUT HOW THATS IMPOSSIBLE.... the mana around him, it's excited....why is it excited...I managed to fully comprehend mana manipulation but I've never seen anything like this..."
"HAH INTERESTING CHAP, COME MY CHILD! climb the floors, meet me and claim your destiny. I'll be waiting,"
Had to be done.
