I cried with Carlos and thanked him, I had understood their why, even though I had forgiven them years ago and blamed myself for being weak, I could only tell them fools over and over again.
From there I saw the video of MOE, who already gave me an idea of who it could be, the video was from the prison and from the court before and after, Gloria's threats made me think that Estela and her sister were Gloria's daughters, Carlos agreed to investigate it but this time it wasn't doubt it was affirmation.
Seeing her laugh in front of the judge and playing the role of victim made my blood boil, I saw it to the end, they accused Gloria of kidnapping and attempted murder in first and second degree, clearly they agreed her to see a psychologist, her sister was only accused of robbery and complicity in first degree, but the money was never returned and I did not know what happened with that money.
Gloria's sister was released after 5 years, but has been under the radar, which is not known if she is still alive or dead, Gloria was released less than a year ago allegedly for good behavior, clearly this was strange to both of us but I preferred that dad see it and investigate.
The box with several copies was of the investigation of the case, bank account numbers, files from mom's former boss to all the staff, Gloria's desk jobs, the police officers in that jail, there was a whole detective investigation of years of work, seeing all that scared me, it was even written what had been said in the 2 trials.
When dad arrived I explained to him what had happened and showed him the evidence, clearly dad was furious that she should be sentenced to life imprisonment and not to 10 years in jail, he immediately called another person while Ricardo arrived and showed him the same thing.
He just looked at me and whispered with a tone between uncomfortable but sure that he would find out something, he said
Ricardo: relax, mom and you are not so alone, let me see what I managed to investigate on my own.
After stirring my hair he left, I had realized that Ricardo was studying 2 careers or so he made me think, one was easy where he could skip classes, but he made me doubt about his other career, besides I sensed that he knew something that I did not know.
Ricardo with those words and actions managed to show me that I still had a long way to go to reach the same pace as him, while I looked at my dad confused, he told me: "How big is that line brother, why do you always manage to be a few steps ahead of me, what should I do now that it is true?
