Third Person's POV
It was calm, too calm for a party. Except for the clatter of water in fountain and music seeping through the elegant instruments, not a single soul sutured. Victor and Maya were already at the venue, chatting with the clients and businessmen. The party was grand but only for selected people. A total of 90 guests occupied the stretched lawn. Waitresses sassed around, swaying their hips seductively with a tray full of snacks and wine glasses. Their faces were completely transformed, inviting onlookers for a taste. The air smells of delicious food that will stay untouched in fear of being poisoned. Later this drool-worthy food will be distributed among beggars sleeping on the streets. Lucky them. Most of the conversation was kept in whispers and small groups were formed gossiping over the upcoming couple.
Poor musicians kept on playing the melody that no one heard.
