A strong stench of something rotten and vile hit their senses as soon as Ophelia opened the door. Nesrin clasped a hand over her nose to somehow endure the air that made her stomach twist and it was becoming harder with every second.
Ophelia entered the room calmly.
The large glass windows that welcomed the bright rays of an unusually large moon were the only source of light inside the room. There was a canopy near the windows, a large carpet spread above the floor, and countless toys were scattered on the floor.
A wall was filled with childish doodles, but at the same time, some bookshelves held thick books no child would read. It was a strange room that held traces of a young child, and at the same, it looked like a room no child would use.
Ophelia lifted a hand to gesture to Nesrin to stop.
