Chương 116: Misgivings

The Lonely Tower was the single vantage point on the north side of the Golden Draconian Palace. After climbing its many sets of stairs up to the top, Hope looked in the distance. She had watched Drake transforming from the window of her room and knew he was headed north. 

At the other side of the palace, there stood three majestic towers from which one could take in the breathtaking view of Giza. But the fight took place to the north, especially to avoid the destruction of the capital city.

The wind blew against the window, causing the hinges to sway. Hope put her fingers on the cool glass, her worried gaze straining to see something through the raging storm. A flash of purple light blinded her for a split second before disappearing as fast as it emerged. She was aware that Drake was there, and an icy chill made her skin wrinkle.
