The moonlight in the strange place where Dahlia ended up was bright and had an ethereal milky quality. It washed over her, and she felt her internal force becoming stronger. She could feel that there was a significant difference between the energy in Panthalassa and space.
She was not the sharpest among her cohort, but she could tell that the place she had entered was not in the real world or rather, the earth as she knew it.
The strangest thing was that everything felt foggy. It was not a physical fogginess but rather, an inability to discern and remember her surroundings.
However, it was a good thing.
If she had learnt anything over the centuries, it was knowing more was not always better.
"Don't waste time," Rex spoke up. "Help her undress and put the robe on her."
Dahlia realised that she had somehow ended up in a room with a simple bed. The young woman, who the master had carried in, was lying on the bed.
