Chương 19: Author note and story idea up for grabs
A/N. Yo! Sorry for the lack of updates but I've been super busy with work and then I got a bad flu which had me bedridden for a few days. Thought I had covid but was actually clean!
Anyway while I was sick I lacked the motivation to write anything but I had ideas for new series yet had no time to write them down. One has been stuck in my head so I'll just give an overview of it and hopefully one of you guys decides to write it or a version of it yourself.
The story was going to be called "pull the plug". It was going to be a guy who was actually a normal citizen of a fictional world who had his life ruined by... a guy with the gamer system!!!!!
He ended up being cucked, caught and used to grind a few skills then sold to a store function of that guys gamer system. Naturally he was pissed and swore unholy vengeance.
His intense hatred stretched deep into the after life and was picked up by something with a similar point of view. The world will of his world~. I was thinking it could be MHA and the guy was quirkless yet actually turned out decent because he wasn't from Japan.
The word will explains to the MC that they allow reincarnators as they simply exist in an alternate timeline therefore rarely impact the original story. A gamer however doesn't give a shit and blows everything to hell for the worlds will.
This is a problem that every world will experiences but they can't do anything against the system as it's connected to source Gaia (a god like all the others from my fics who gave counterparts in various universes) who has some pull against world wills.
That will then offers him power to hunt gamers, with a smirk the mc accepts. He won't use a system but he'll learn the powers of each world he visits himself. The world will reveals his quirk or innate power to be called "access denied" which is perfect for the job of hunting gamers.
That ability allows the user to prevent himself from being copied. If someone tries to copy their attacks using a sharingan/saiyan copy ability/the end/ clone him/ simulation or something similar they would be met with a crippling migraine as they receive damage directly to the soul for trying thus preventing the owner from being copied.
No dojutsu bitches copying him!
Fast forward a few years and the mc walks into his fortress of doom that he liberated when he hunted a gamer that world jumped into DOOM eternal to get a female slayer as a waifu.
Years spent hunting gamers allowed him to become a man of culture, he had to in order to hunt those bastards. On his hip is a skull screaming profanities at him, that is Ainz chan~ a gamer who became the overlord so he could get his hands on nazericks beauties.
The mc thought crushing the red orb in his chest cavity would kill him dead, alas he survived so the mc took it for inspection. This gamer had two more gamer skills that were on the level of gamers mind and gamers body! So he took him for research, years of visiting Sci-fi and fantasy worlds made him quiet skilled.
Gamers stick to their quests which gives him a timeframe to prepare himself for that worlds power system and how the gamer would abuse it. Ainz chan~ had two skills that specialised in gamer PVP. A thing he discovered four years into his hunt.
Some gamers form a guild which he compared to a council of ricks as they were all over powered and assholes. The worst he faced would be the dark wolf gamer guild as they had numerous ways to resurrect hence the importance of Ainz chan.
His first skill is called "gamer rage/ rage quit" and it basically cracks a gamers monitor. Their energy and skills get locked onto the ones that they had access to in their first world. For example a cultivator gamer who started in naruto verse would only have access to his chakra and not the other energies. Doing this cuts off a lot of their skills and items which rely on certain energies to activate.
Also prevents them from using system related skills such as the mini map and occasionally observe. Not that the mc doesn't have items that block that skill. So Ainz chan makes his job easier but his second skill is what helps the most in ending gamers like the ones from the darkwolf guild.
"Game Over!" this skills stops resurrection and brainwashing items from taking effect against the user. Ainz wished for it incase he got shallteared in Yggdrasil from his ROB. Any Pokemon with the sturdy trait didn't become an issue for the mc anymore.
The mc would place the Mimir ripoff on his little cushion by his PC and let him watch anime and read manga via voice command. This way the MC could predict how a gamer would develop in new worlds, he needed something like that after jujitsu kaisen appeared and every fucker was running around with limitless and the six eyes.
The mc would sit in his fortress of doom and use senjutsu to heal any damage and then be checked over by his A.I. Wendy. Why not VEGA? It's cause Wendy was an A.I that was made through a wish by a gamer therefore other gamers can't hack it. She hated her gamer who was a member of the flat sect until he went to Maken Ki and changed his tune. She wanted the guy gone so the MC did his job.
Within the fortress it's just him, his A.I and Ainz chan~. He learned not to trust anyone in his profession except the world wills. Women? Gamers can corrupt them as easy as snapping their fingers once they grind enough, or some punk with plot armour puts the whammy on them when he's hunting and they decide to wander off.
Friends? Tried befriending people in various worlds like Ben Grimm (got smashed), Heimdall (decapitated from the eyes), Azazel (KFC'd), Lucifer Morningstar (maze killed him in his sleep after being gamer boosted).
So because he has no friends he chose to collect cool shit, he gets to admire fine craftsmanship and it also helps in attracting cocky gamers who want his loot pile. A while back Wendy even helped make it a vault from borderlands which made his kill count skyrocket with all the gamer psychos appearing.
/// from this point I think the rest of the story should be hunting famous gamers from various fics or parodies of them. For example, a guy who became an insect and used the gamer system to evolve. Or someone abusing esper powers in MHA, or a DXD degenerate who needed to get laid in his first life. Maybe even Han Jihan or sung jin woo.
That's the idea, feel free to take it cause I don't think I could write beyond the initial idea without totally dropping stuff. Look forward to my other stories which should be returning soon (if my boss would get off my ass). See ya!
