"The DarkResident program... It was conceived before I joined the department almost three decades ago. The aim of the program was to embed deep cover agents within the major Intel agencies within the continent and some abroad with the aim of acquiring early warnings of negative intents against the country. These agents aren't contacted or activated unless there's a major threat to the country or its plans. Then, it's up to the agent to send such Intel to the department.
