Chương 5: Magister

'Hargath...' Cullen Azog placed his hand on top of the dying Orc Warrior. His action right now was seen as a friend accompanying him until his last moment. Only his mother knew why would the Orc Craftsman she gave birth to looked so affectionate at this moment.

There are no other wounds on him except these two... It does not look like a wound created by a sword at all..." Cullen Azog slowly rubbed Hargath's body as he walked around him. The other confusing orcs soon followed, thinking that such an action will make Hargath feels better.

"Har - Hargath is weak. Hargath feels unhappy for failing to hunt the Black Boar..." instead of blaming the humans for abandoning him, this Orc Warrior kept insisting that he was the one to be blamed.

"Why would you say so, Hargath?" Cullen Azog asked. His question immediately caused some of the older orcs to be dissatisfied with him.

'Look at this imbecile... If it was not because the humans are leaving him behind to fight till his death, how can Hargath ended up like this right now?" one of the older orcs said. He was one of the two orcs that poured the boiling hot food to the infants when they're on their journey to this planet.

Crippled and senile, the two of them were why the Orc Village remained the same after two years. Because they're considered much higher in terms of their previous seniority, the other thirty or so older orcs have no choice but to obey them.

'These two old senile!' Cullen Azog wished he can chop their head right here. But that can only remain as a wish because even if they're both crippled, senile, and fool, their strength as an ex-Orc Warrior of the Supreme King's Space Armada is not a joke.

When they're still in their prime, each of these Orc Warrior is as strong as ten human soldiers.

"Cull - Cullen..." Hargath's voice gets weaker as he struggles to breathe.

"I'm here." Cullen Azog grabbed Hargath's hand as he answered the call.

"When I was pulling them up... I - I saw many incoming Scale Lizards coming up from the water. We - We must be..." Hargath finally succumbed to his injury as his lungs no longer capable of taking air inside.

Heavy bleeding soon followed. After some struggle, the Orc Warrior breathed his last while surrounded by all the people he knows.

"The humans! Ask the human to return Hargath's life to us!" one of the Orc Sharpshooters said and took his short bow out. The way he behaves was no different from the two elders.

"Yes! Get the three humans here to pay for Hargath's life!" more and more orcs got agitated and started to shout like they're bent to get revenge for a fellow tribesman.

"Everyone, calm down!" Cullen Azog raised his voice, but it went to deaf ears as all of them scattered and returned to their house to search for tools. Soon, glass bottles, rakes, shovels, and a few daggers were in their hands as they came out.

'Are these bunch of orc an idiot? To think that they'll try to start a fight with broken tools like those?' Cullen Azog is speechless. What the orcs were trying to do is like giving a reason to the human on purpose to trample themselves.

"Cullen..." his mother came forward.

"Mother... This..." Cullen Azog held his human mother's hand and kept her behind him. Turning his head back on the crowd of unorganized orcs, he noticed that a few of them had turned their sight on the only human inside this village.

"That woman is a human too!" a few orc craftsmen like Cullen Azog said as their finger pointed at Cullen's mother.

'What a bunch of idiots..." Cullen Azog's heart beats faster as he started to get worried about what will happen next. He's currently standing in a thin layer of ice between the human-orc relationship. And with an action of his, it will escalate to out of his control.

The two senile orcs smiled as they enjoyed the sight. They're still blaming Cullen Azog's mother for giving birth to a useless orc child. If it weren't for her, will they be abandoned here that day?

"Tarzul!" Cullen Azog gives a kick at the Orc Warrior's thigh.

"Get into my workshop and grab two swords out. Since I haven't sharpened them yet, it shouldn't be deadly for you to use against them," Cullen Azog whispered.

"Alright! Tarzul is going." the Orc Warrior left quickly, leaving only Cullen and his mother outside of their shack.

"Cullen! Toss that human woman out, and we'll wipe away our suspicion between you and the humans." the Orc Sharpshooter from before came forward. A featherless bolt made from wood has been slotted onto the bowstring as he is done with his warning.

"Put down your bow, Ashtar!" Cullen Azog put his palm facing the Orc Sharpshooter as he speaks. If the thing gets worst, he'll be forced to show them a thing or two using the magic he knew.

"Oh? A craftsman like you trying to order me? Who do you think you are? The chief of our village?" Ashtar pulled his bowstring and aimed the bolt at Cullen Azog's mother.

"Ashtar... How can you treat me like this? I've taken care of you and the others since you're still a baby..." Cullen Azog's mother cried. To her, the twenty or so Orc Infants were all her children, just like Cullen Azog.

"You can only blame it on the fact you're not an orc," Ashtar said.

"I've warned you! Die!" unknown what he was rushing for, the Orc Sharpshooter released his finger on the arrow. Although it's somewhat unstable, the projectile is still flying in a straight line towards Rosie Cullen.

*Ding!*

Until a blunt sword appeared in front of her. Using the broad surface area of the weapon, Tarzul narrowly blocked the arrow.

"You!" Cullen Azog's eyes stay at the arrow that fell on the ground. He was totally pissed by what the Orc Sharpshooter just did.

"Me what? If you're capable, then come and stop me, weakling!" Ashtar pulled another arrow out from his poorly made quiver and tried to slot the projectile onto the bowstring.

"Then let me fulfill your deathwish!" the Inheritance of Immortality that he's been hiding until now can no longer be contained. Cullen Azog shot a ball of flame towards Ashtar and incinerates him into nothingness on the spot.

It surprises all the other orcs as the weapon in their hand was dropped on the ground.

"Cull - Cullen Azog is not a craftsman! He's a magister! He's a magister!" a few of the older orcs fell on the ground and slowly crawled away from him.
