Chương 27: INFIX

Amanda Wilde straightens her clothes. She stares at the lush trees behind the Retirement Home. She inhales the air outside the window. Night has not yet come, but the moon is already rising in the sky, almost perfect circle with dark spots in several places.

"Soon, that primitive creature will appear," she mutters condescendingly. She then sinks her body into her chair.

Amanda Wilde smiles lightly. Those two idiot yegers will definitely hunt the creature. She is really excited to find the result of their hunt, whether they would be able to defeat the primitive creature or be torn apart by it. For the past few days, they never showed up at the Retirement Home, forcing her to find new workers to fill in. How troublesome. However, when she recalls her encounter with one of the boys, a few nights ago, while she was hunting, she is pleased enough to see that idiot face being terrified.
