Chương 74: Bad dream

One hour later

Lying on the cold floor, Elsa wrapped her hands around her knees. Her red swollen eyes and messy hair is enough to say that she is crying for a long time.

Just then someone entered the room with an invitation card in her hand.

Looking at the woman who had a devilish smile on her face, Elsa wiped her tears and asked "What are you doing here?"

"I am here to invite you to my wedding banquet." The woman smiled and said

Elsa couldn't control her tears and started crying harder when she heard those words. How can she attend the wedding banquet of the man whom she loved? How can she manage to digest that her man married another woman? How can she control herself?

"What happen Elsa? Why are you crying?" The woman asked

Pausing for a while, she said "Maybe, I know why you are crying. You loved my husband Calvin but didn't dare to propose to him, what happen at the end? He thought you doesn't love him and married me."

Placing her hand on Elsa's hand, the woman said "I really pity you, Elsa. You don't know how much my husband loved you, your insecurities costed your love. He fed up courting on you and gave in to me. How sad it is for you to see your love with me? Did you ever thought about how happy and blissful you would have been if you shared your feelings with him? Did you ever thought about how happy you would have been when you proposed to him instead of overthinking? You never thought, right? "

"Let me tell you how happy we are." The woman said

Pausing for a while, she said "He gives me a morning kiss every day and he takes me to the date every other day. You know what, he always gifts me with the things I want and says I love you at least ten times in a day. You missed everything, Elsa. In fact, you ruined everything. "

When Elsa didn't say anything, the woman further explained "Didn't your friend said to propose him? Why didn't you propose him? You never cared about his feelings but now, when you are caring about him, he is not with you."

"You know what Elsa, you will get a regretful life when you think too much about the future. You have to live in present and you have to be prepared strongly for the future but you shouldn't overthink about the future which you don't know and spoil your present." The woman smiled and said

"Anyway, I wish you to come to the banquet and bless us." The woman said before walking away.

"I ruined everything." Elsa sobbed harder

"How can I assume things myself? Why the hell I didn't dared to propose to him? Why the hell I let my love walk away from me?" Elsa shouted

"I miss you a lot." Elsa started crying harder.

Hearing her painful sobs, Calvin opened his eyes and looked at Elsa.

Calvin frowned when tears started flowing down Elsa's cheeks.

"El, what happen?" Calvin panicked and tried to wake her up

"I ruined everything," Elsa murmured

"El, Are you dreaming? What happen?" Calvin asked

Opening her eyes, when she looked at Calvin before her, Elsa couldn't help but hug him before sobbing harder.

"El, calm down." Calvin patted her back and said

Calvin heart pricked when he looked at her vulnerable state. Her tears were like a stab in his heart. He couldn't let his woman cry but he don't know the reason why she is crying. He wants to ask her but looking at her condition, he decided to let her calm down first.

After crying for five long minutes, Elsa calmed herself and looked at Calvin.

"What happen El?" Calvin asked

"I—I had a bad dream" Elsa shuttered

"What is it?" Calvin cupped her cheeks and asked

"I don't want to talk about it." Elsa took a deep breath and said

"Fine, let me bring some water for you," Calvin said and walked towards the pantry.

"Oh my god, I thought it was real," Elsa muttered

She then frowned deeper and thought 'I can't bear losing Calvin. I became so vulnerable and oh my god, I cried a lot. What if it happens for real? Can I bear the pain of losing Calvin?'

'No, I can't lose Cal but how can I propose him? What if he doesn't love me? What if he friendzone me? What if he wants to marry another woman?' Elsa thought

"No El, you can't overthink and decide yourself without talking with Cal. What if he feels the same as I feel for him? What if he is also in a state of confusion?" Elsa murmured

'How should I ask him? Should I give him hints? Should I take a initiative?' Elsa asked herself
