Chương 10: Something unexpected

"But I can't see his dinosaur-like face every day." Ella frowned and said

Gesturing Ava to help him out, Nick sighed and said "I think your friend's poor heart will break if you reject this opportunity."

Placing her hand on his chest, Ava dramatically said "Ahh, my heart hurts a lot. I cared for you and informed about this opportunity but you never cared—"

"Ahh, stop being dramatic Ava." Ella frowned and said

"What? My heart got hurt very badly." Ava defended her

"What do you want me to do?" Ella asked

"Just sign the papers and get yourself placed in the interior designing department." Ava excitedly said

When Ella didn't say anything, Ava dramatically said "Ahh, I could feel my heart is bleeding in pain."

"For god sake, don't try to act overdramatic." Ella frowned and said

"What? I want my best friend to stay with me. Is that wrong to think?" Ava said while wiping her fake tears

"Stop it, Ava, I am going to sign the papers," Ella said and dashed out of the room

"Hayeeee." Ava jumped in excitement

Looking at Ava's excitement, Nick chuckled and said "You look beautiful when you are excited."

"Thank you for helping me out," Ava stated

"It's my responsibility to help the woman I love." Nick smiled and said

When Ava didn't say anything, Nick held her hand and asked "Ava—"

"Please boss, I can't," Ava said about to dash out of the room when two women with similar kind of dressing approached them

"Hey, Ava how are you?" One woman smiled and said

"I am good and you both look stunning." Ava chuckled and said

"Ah, thank you, honey. We customized these outfits from Mr Brown and he has a couple collection too." Amelia Jones, Nick's mother said

"Yes, I think you and your friends should visit the store." Mary Lewis, Calvin's mother said

"Mom, Are you going somewhere?" Nick asked

"Yes honey, we have a monthivesary party of our club." Amelia smiled and said

"So, we decided to wear twin at the party." Mary chuckled and said

"Did dad and uncle know about it?" Nick chuckled and asked

"As if we care about them." Amelia chuckled and said

"We came here to click some photos and upload them on our Instagram," Mary said

"Yeah, last time when I uploaded a pic here, I got 20k likes and 10k comments." Amelia excitedly said

Mary and Amelia are cousins and they are loyal, supportive best friends from childhood. Though their husbands don't share a healthy bond, Mary and Amelia always stick together and party hard. They raised their children, Nick and Calvin the same way they are and always supported them in every single thing. Despite having millions in their bank account, they never treated anyone lowly and always give them equal respect which made them unique in their way.

"Mary, open your Pinterest and search for best friend poses," Amelia said before taking a custom made best friend props from her bag

"Ahh, you got props too. You are awesome Aunt." Ava chuckled and said

"Yeah, we want to act like cool best friends." Mary chuckled and said

"Hey aunt, How are you?" Anna asked before walking towards her

"Yeah, I am fine till now but I don't think I will be fine after seeing you." Mary sighed and said

"Aunt—"

"I still can't believe that how my son is tolerating you?" Mary said

Looking at Ava, Mary asked, "Where is my stupid son?"

"He is with my best friend. Ahh, I forget to tell you that my best friend is here and she is joining our company as the head of the interior designing department."

"Woah, that's great—"

"FYI, Calvin asked me to convince her to join this company." Nick chuckled and said

"What? He asked someone to stay?" Amelia widened his eyes in shock and asked

"Wow, I want to see here and I am sure she is damn beautiful." Mary excitedly said before rushing towards the room.

Calvin's office

"Is she just like you?" Mary excitedly asked

Ava chuckled and said "She is more beautiful than me." before opening the door

As soon as they opened their door, everyone widened their eyes in shock and awkwardly cleared their throat when they looked at something that they weren't expecting to see.
