Diana returned from school and retired to her room, she didn't bother to have the lunch her mom prepared for her. Mia wanted to go up to her room and talk to her, but she decided against it.

Things would play out in time, she thought and focused on finding a new job. She had gotten numerous calls from her ex co-workers at Tyler Corp. All wishing her to get well soon, even Jonathan called to plead with her to return to the office.

Mia didn't have the heart to tell them that she got fired, and ended the conversations short. She put her phone down, but another call came through, "who could that..."she looked at her screen.

Unknown number.

"Hello, is this Mia Netwood?."The voice over the phone asked, Mia gripped the phone tightly and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Yes, and whom am I on to?."Mia casually asked, "Mr Jenner."the voice said.
