Chương 55: Unexpected Vacation (VI)

Her lips escaped a heavy sigh as her eyes travelled to her luggage. She sat down to grab some clothes to take a bath. After that, she stepped inside the shower room and took all her clothes. 

She let herself to run the water all over her body, striving to wipe all the negative thoughts fleeing inside her head. She wished this water would wash away all her worries. 

She didn't understand why Chance became off guard with her after the incident. It feels like he was hiding something from her and she didn't like it. However, she couldn't just confront him. 

Afterwards, she felt hungry so she went downstairs. 

"I'm hungry," she mumbled. 

As she walked inside the dining room, her eyes travelled to Chance, who was eating his dinner. She heaved a long exhale before sitting between Mairen and Brenda. Mairen, on the other hand, was stunned when Aly sat beside him. He glanced at her as Alyssum smiled at him.
