Chương 338: Guesses

Upon reading the letter, Ban could not help but feel incredulous towards it. Although it was vague, it also contained a lot of valuable information at the same time. 

"Is Joana actually a Dark Guild member?" He muttered to himself as he stared at the letter. 

"No!" An unexpected reply came from Dio beside him. 

Ban stared at Dio for a moment before nodding his head, "You are right. She is not a member. The group she is talking about should be the Dark Guild, right?"

Although she did not state it clearly, Ban had a guess that Joana might be the true perpetrator behind this Beast Tide. And like their guess, the Dark Guild was indeed behind this mess.

A complicated feeling arose inside Ban. He suddenly recalled the figure in the forest earlier. Slowly, it enveloped with Joana's figure and it suddenly made much more sense. 

Suddenly, Ban felt anger and pity at the same time as he thought of the recent situation.
