Chương 70: You Probably Hate Me That Much

Mori Ken was quickly rooted to the ground as he saw how Sakura's eyes glistened with tears right now. He hated seeing her cry more than anything else.

He knows, however, that he must also be partially to blame for the girl's imminent tears. He knows the feeling of seeing someone who is always reminding you of your awful past, and therefore, he is doing his very best to get rid of it as soon as possible.

All the efforts he is now showing to her is part of him trying to patch everything up. If there is anything he can do to reach out to his former childhood friend and restore the bond, he will surely do it.

Pursing his lips, Ken asked in a concerned tone, "What's wrong?"

All their other friends are now caught up with what is happening over here and also have the look of concern in their faces as they all look at Sakura now. The latter, on the other hand, just felt worse for all the stares she is now getting and can't hold it any longer.
