Amy accepted the contract after hearing what Helder had said.
Helder, Amy, and club officials signed the contract.
"Welcome to our club," said Alex Morten, holding out his hand.
"Thank you, president," said Helder.
They shook hands.
Helder also shook hands with the Football director and manager.
"Tomorrow practice is at 9 o'clock." said manager Cris Felipe.
"Okay, boss."
"We will announce that we have signed a contract with you during the day," said Wayne Sam, Director of Football.
"We look forward to your announcement," said Amy.
"If the meeting's over, with your permission, I'd like to tour the city with Helder." Amy continued.
"Sure, see you later Miss Amy and Helder," said President Alex Morten.
Helder and Amy left the room.
"I don't want my percentage," said Amy.
It hadn't even been ten seconds since they had left the Room together.
"Why?" ' Helder asked.
"The amount of money in the contract is already very low and if I get my agent share, you may have difficulties. That's why I don't want it."
"So that's what you think…" Helder said sincerely.
"How was I thinking?"
"Nothing… Well, whatever you want, Amy."
They left the clubhouse.
Together they began touring the city of Preston.
Preston was a small city.
But anyway, Helder liked small towns more.
"Are you hungry?" ' asked Amy.
"A little."
"Then let's go with you to a place I love."
"Where are we going?"
"Surprise."
He grabbed Amy Helder's arm.
Frankly, Helder's face was red.
"Am I excited? Wake up, Helder." she thought.
Amy, on the other hand, unlike Helder, radiated happiness on her face.
About 15 minutes had passed.
"Here it is," said Amy.
He had taken Amy Helder to the Street markets.
It was like a fair.
A lot of food and clothing was sold.
It was crowded too.
"It's surprising how crowded it is," said Helder.
"Opens only 1 day a week. So it's normal for it to be crowded."
"I think you seem pretty knowledgeable about this place."
Amy didn't answer.
They stopped in front of a chicken vendor.
"Here is my favorite place," said Amy.
The chicken seller shouted as soon as he saw Amy.
"Guys, Amy is here."
When the owner of many shops heard the name Amy, they came to Amy.
"Oh, you've grown." said an old woman.
"I think it's been five years since I was last here, Miss Karen." said Amy.
"Oh, time goes really fast…" said the old woman.
Everyone there took turns hugging Amy.
It was like everyone missed Amy.
Helder was stunned.
"How does everyone know you?"
"There were days when I used to come here. Only this." said Amy.
Helder didn't believe it.
But it still made Helder happy to see that Amy was a loved one.
Just then, a middle-aged man walked towards Helder.
He whispered in Helder's ear.
"Please take good care of our Amy." ' said the man, and walked away.
Helder took a long look at the man who had gone.
"What happened, Helder?" ' asked Amy.
"Oh, nothing." said Helder.
Then they all sat together and ate from the chicken shop.
At the end of the meal, Amy wanted to pay the bill, but the chicken shop owner refused.
Amy thanked everyone there for these amazing treats and left with Helder.
"How did you like the food?" ' asked Amy.
"Yes, it was beyond my expectations."
"I am pleased." said Amy.
It was night now.
Amy had booked a 3-star hotel for Helder and herself.
They arrived in front of the hotel.
"Thank you for everything Amy."
"I haven't done anything yet. You will see what I can do when you play well." said Amy, smiling.
They slept in different rooms.
It was morning.
Helder was excited.
Helder was going to training with a club for the first time in a long time…
Will Helder get used to his team? We will see together. Thank you all for reading and commenting^^
