Chương 6: ~Going Back~
The next day I woke up early so we could start packing Levi and I would be leaving the trainees, so we could go back to HQ. Apparently, Erwin is looking for us for an important meeting for our next expedition. We in a rush to get back because it sounded urgent.
Last night before I went to sleep when Mikasa and I were talking she said Eren has been worried about me lately and feeling guilty for not talking to each other. She said he was blaming his self if I died or if anything happened to me. I told her to tell him I would be fine and see me later when they get into the scout regiment.
"Don't worry about me okay I'm perfectly fine. Just worry about Eren okay Mikasa." "I just want to make sure you doing fine. Even if I know you can protect yourself, I still worry because I don't want anything to happen to you. Eren would tear himself apart." "Come on trust me I'm good okay. Just worry about Eren since I'm not here to watch over him."
We stopped talking after that and went to sleep because she would have to get up early in the morning for training and, I would have to go wake up early for leaving to back to HQ. I was knocked back into reality when I heard someone knocking at my door. "Well damn what took you so long to answer the door?" "Sorry I was zoned out for a second."
"Well hurry up we gotta go back to HQ." "Is the carriage already here?" "Yes, it is now come on, and let's get moving. I don't want to be here any longer than I have to be okay. I am only here because you are here." Okay okay, I get it now come on let's go." "Besides this place is not clean enough it's driving me insane!!" "Calm down okay Levi lets go now."
As soon as we were getting into the carriage I see someone was coming to us. It was my brother. I figured what he would want to talk about me to see it was still alive in the regiment. I was still trying to avoid my brother still, so I told the people who were taking our things to hurry up so we could leave.
At the last second we left I was so thankful for leaving right before he could corner us. The way back to HQ was silent. Lately, Levi had been coming back to our room later than usual. He was being secretive though I didn't think too much of it.
He would always be out somewhere but put it off with him saying he was talking to Erwin. I didn't bother after that because it could be private between them, so I stayed out of it. I could tell he was keeping something from me.
I thought this would be the perfect time to talk to him about it. I knew he wouldn't cheat on me because I knew he was loyal. Though the thought was still there. 'Maybe it's just something with Erwin? I don't even know anymore. I'll ask him in a bit I wanna take a nap.' I laid my head on the window and fell asleep.

Levi POV
I had been keeping things from y/n and I felt terrible. I would always have to stay out late just to get everything set and prepared. I would tell her the excuse of I would go have to talk to Erwin. I did but that wasn't the whole truth. I would go to shops and try to find the perfect ring. I was going to propose to her. We have now been together for 2 years.
People might think that's too soon, but I love her a lot. We have been through so much together. Fighting titans to even me able to come out to her telling my past that I never liked talking about. She has been by my side through everything, and I want that to be forever, so I want to propose to her.
I had gotten Erwins permission and he said it would be fine. I even talked to four eyes because I knew her and y/n were close to each other. I hated keeping this a secret from her and I could tell she knew something was going on.
I had to keep this up just a little longer and wait for the perfect time to pop the question. The only reason we were going back was so I could propose to her. I had finally gotten the perfect ring. Saying that Erwin needed to talk to us was all fake.
Before we left that day I had told her sister, Mikasa, I was going to propose. She said it was fine but she threatened me. "Fine I will let you but if you break her heart in any way I will not hesitate to crush or kill you got it shorty." "Yes yes I would never hurt her I love her too much for that, also don't call me shorty I am still your higher-up." "Sure sure better keep that promise."
When we finally getting to HQ I woke up y/n. "Y/n wake up we're here come on let's go." "Coming coming." I could tell she was still half asleep so that was good. She wouldn't notice that we were headed towards our spot where we confessed to each other.
I had the ring in my pocket and I could feel myself sweating. I may have looked like my regular self but inside I was dying. 'What's going to be her answer?! Will she say yes or no?!' I just wanted her to say yes so badly. I wanted her to be the future Mrs. Ackerman.
Y/n POV
We had finally gotten back to HQ, but the weird thing was the training grounds and everything was quite like no one was here. 'Hmm, maybe training was let out early.' I was still too tired to even think of anything.
All I knew was Levi was leading the and I trusted him. I had noticed we were on our way to our spot. 'Hmmm, why are we coming here?' "Hey, Levi where are we going why are we here?" "You'll see soon enough." He was still leading me until I see our spot in candles and roses.
"Levi, what's going on?" "Nothing special I just wanted to spend time with you is that bad I want to spend time with my girlfriend?" "No, it's not. It's just you don't usually like this. Though I do like it." "Y/n L/n you have always been by my side and helped me sleep more and have comforted me through all the hard times these past 2 years. I would never want anyone else but you, my love." "Are you doing what I think you're doing?" I was starting to tear up. Was he proposing? "Y/n would you make the happiest man and marry me, and become Ms. Ackerman?"

Levi POV
I could see her face she was tearing up I was so scared in my head I was internally screaming. 'Maybe it was too soon.' I was still waiting for her response until I heard her say "I...."
Welp that's it. That's a wrap sorry to leave you on a cliff hanger but I must. I think this is long enough and I wanted to leave you on a cliff hanger. Sorry don't hate me.
