Chương 469: Her Confession

 He found smiling watery eyes staring back at him. The Lord smiled through his tears. His woman was his life. He felt the pain in his heart subside the more he gazed into her soul. 

Such purity! Such love! Who else would love him as she had done? Who else would see through the facade he had built throughout the years? Who else would have made him feel this way?

The answer stared back at him with the most breathtaking smile he had seen to date. Her smile was perhaps a treasure only a few got the honor to witness. 

She caressed his cheek and opened her mouth to speak. "Hello love." Her voice was laced with emotions that shook him to the core. 

Was it possible to discern emotions vividly from a single word a person spoke? Because he swore that she just handed her life over from the simple greeting.
