“Crime is a crime.” She gave me a look.
I was literally done. I sighed and leaned back on the headboard for support. I couldn’t believe that this conversation was going in circles.
“Mum, your work is done. If your objective was to fry up my brain with this ‘your relationship is illegal’ shit, then you’ve accomplished your mission. Congratulations.” I said and turned my face to look away from her. Just looking at her was making me cry.
“My objective was to guide you but it seems like you’ve literally made up your mind that I’ve something against you. You are my son, Noah and I can’t see you fall in a dark pit but if you want me to respect your decision then fine. Do whatever you want to do. My job was to tell you the difference between right and wrong, now it’s up to you.” Her voice was low and I could tell that she was hurt by my words.
