Chương 32: Cool night air

The boys pulled up outside the Vogue residence and strode up to the door. Tom pressed the bell and waited. A sweet voice chimed over the intercom, "Hey fellas. Interesting time you've chosen."

Daken laughed. "Yeah we know, but we're impatient."

"No matter. Come in."

The door opened to soft lights glowing, the scent of sandlewood incense and peaceful vibes. All that jazz. That wasn't the main attraction though. As the door opened, Hannah stood to the side a little. She was rocking a light dressing gown with presumably only lingerie underneath. Daken and Tom found it hard not to sneak glances as they walked in.

"Bad time?", Daken asked. "Seems like you chillaxing for the night."

"Nope, you're good. I don't sleep around now anyway", she answered as she walked over to a counter and poured a drink. Before Hannah closed the bottle, she turned to them asking, "Care for some, boys?"

"Nah we're fine. Besides... Wine at this time of the night?", Daken noticed.

Hannah shook her head as she took a small sip. "Ha. You wish. Lucky for you guys, I don't drink. This is mixed berry drink."

Tom seemed surprised for some reason. "Really?", he wondered. "Thought you'd be a whisky or gin girl."

"Well looks can be deceiving," she quipped back, with a wink. She walked over to where the boys were and took a seat in the chair opposite them. Judging from her demeanour, it looked as though she really had been in the middle of something before they came around.

"I heard you guys found Jenny. I must extend my thanks for that. Even with all my pull, I lost her trail."

The boys nodded, "No worries at all. Got the money and the original files as well."

Tom showed her the USB stick. Hannah took it and burnt it in the small fireplace.

"Isn't that dangerous?"

Hannah smirked, "Probably is. But that shit's better burnt, trust me."

She levelled a puzzling stare at the boys as she tried to figure them out for a second.

"You picked a dangerous time of night to shack up in my place. Especially with those leather jackets."

Daken leaned forward.

"If we didn't know that, we wouldn't have come."

He sat back again as she walked towards them. She ran her long, manicured nail under each of their chins, scrutinising every detail of them.

"Any other night, I'd take you two in a heartbeat," she admired, her voice barely a whisper. "But I've got company it seems."

"Company? Damn, you hoping to charm someone with these looks?", joked Daken.

Hannah laughed as she stepped back.

"Nah. More like he needed some rest. He got injured yesterday. Hasn't really healed up yet."

"Shit. I hope he gets better... Whoever 'he' might be", Tom winked.

"Very funny Tom", Hannah smirked. "But just cuz I'm hosting doesn't mean you boys are driving home at this time of night."

They looked surprised.

"What?"

"Don't stand there like fish that can't breath. I have a whole guest room kitted out for a sleepover. En suite, 2 beds. All that jazz."

The boys stood almost dumbfounded, but they felt it would be rude to refuse such a good offer.

"Ok H. You've sold us. We'll take it", Daken winked as he stood up. He leaned closer to Hannah's ear and whispered in a husky tone.

"That's one on your tab... I'll have to bang you harder next time around."

Hannah bit her lip at his assertiveness. She traced her finger on his jawline as she cattily whispered back, "Harder? You were pretty easy last time."

"Oh sweetheart. That was just a taste."

He looked at her with a lingering expression. One of insatiable lust. But he had to wait his turn. All the better, because it made the anticipation that much sweeter.

"Ahem. You guys finished?", interjected Tom.

"Does it matter, son?", Daken mocked.

Tom punched his shoulder as the pair headed off to the guest room. Hannah turned off the lights in the sitting room and moved into her bedroom. Lee was laying on the bed, breathing slowly.

The night air was cool and relaxing. Surely an inviting vibe.
