Aegis never liked a birthday party for himself, so it was standard that when Aegis has a birthday, the entire family just sits by the fireplace huddled together, and watches some movies...
So it was no surprise for Iris, who came for her morning shift of waking her boss up and read him any news that happened when he was sleeping when he was doing his morning exercises...
So what greeted Iris was the sight of one big pile of bodies leaning against each other as they slept...
Harriet, Weiss, and Winter were leaning and hugging Aegis, who was being hugged from the back by her friend Willow, leaning against the couch...
Iris just sighed as she saw that sight, but then she gained an idea and pulled out her scroll to gain some teasing material for future opportunities...
*Blick*
Iris saved the photo and just closed the doors after herself as she was making her way for a coffee break until her boss awake himself as she will not risk angering the girls by taking their hugging teddy bear away...
Iris looked at the message her boss get from the man named Ozpin...
No other name, just Ozpin...
Iris would usually ignore unimportant messages, but her boss made a list of names that she has to be careful of, and Ozpin was one of them. Knowing it's not her place to be curious, Iris just notes it for later notification ...
--------
"Sponsoring?"
Asked Aegis, who after an arduous activity that included him sneaking from sleeping girls without waking them up...
"Yes, as you can see, our talent agents you send to seek any good-looking and promising candidates for SDC PR brought this name up."
Iris said as she showed her boss the name of a promising candidate for bettering SDC and Schnee's name...
Aegis looked at the information and just raised an eyebrow as he looked at the photo on the document and then at Iris and repeated it until Iris finally snapped...
"No, No, we are not relatives, Yes! Yes, I even looked into it myself just to be sure!"
Iris irritably said as Aegis chuckled at her outburst but suppressed it as the last time. He made little fun of moody and irritated Iris...
If someone tells Aegis that every massage is pleasurable, he will make them feel one of Iris 'Special' massages...
Aegis ignoring the phantom pain he had from memory, looked again on the file where he was named Pyrrha Nikos, a fighting prodigy with already promising looks...
It seemed that this year would be her first time attending the Minstral Regional tournament, and her manager, or rather her mother, was looking for someone who would sponsor her daughter as they were financially in deep depts from buying Pyrrha weapons and armor...
Armor that was made from standard armor to Aegis opinion shame...
Yes, the girl looked good in it, but it gave zero protection on vital parts of the body...
Well, Aegis already found out that the huntsmen and other aura users are just too dependant on the aura and completely dropped the idea of wearing armor...
Yes, they are more mobile, but what is mobility when you get killed from a decisive blow? Not speaking about the fact that when Aegis hacked Atlas, he found many projects for aura negating...
Aegis looked at the girl who had long red hair with an innocent face and eyes green as emeralds that radiated both happiness and sorrow...
Honestly, it was like a child version of his secretary Iris...
"Alright, contact them and make a deal that will be beneficial for both sides... No, wait, make it into the deal that if the girl wins her first round, then they are invited to Schnee mansion for a celebration of the new contract."
Aegis said as he could see that the girl was a prodigy in fighting and get an idea of her being both Weiss and Harriet's sparring partner...
"Aye aye, boss!"
Iris said, lighthearted as she made her way to draft a new contract...
"And don't forget to tell them we will pay for her equipment!"
Aegis said.
"Har Har captain!"
Iris said and closed the doors...
Aegis just smiled at her display as he liked that when they are in private, Iris could joke with him...
As Aegis found out that just his family, Iris, Klein, and Belladonna's family doesn't fear to speak and joke with him...
Truly for the others, the Aegis Schnee is either a spoiled brat or a big bad monster...
Aegis was making new plans for Mantle's renovation when his scroll pinged with one particular sound...
"Hmm, what do we have there?"
Aegis said and looked at his scroll that just notified him about the Red fang activity in Atlas...
After Aegis had enough of looking for Red Fang, he made V.I virtual intelligence that would gather and look at any information about Red Fang, and finally, it paid off as Aegis saw something exciting...
"So they finally made a move, hm?"
Aegis said as he saw faunus and humans making a secret base in one of the Mantles abandoned warehouses...
"Truly the big bad Red Fang works with humans they soo much hate... Hm?"
Aegis said sarcastically but stopped when he saw one of the faunuses...
Aegis immediately ran the face of the faunus and gained Unexpect results...
"Tyrian Callows... what do you do there? And Hazel Rainart too..."
Aegis said as he made one of his closest spy drones he made to spy on Atlas and Mantle to make its way to the warehouse...
"Tomorrow, we finally make the Schnee pay!"
Said one of the Red fang grunts...
"Ehehee, they will be great sacrifices for a goddess!"
Said Tyrian, and Aegis's hands trembled...
"Enough chit-chatting! We have work to do! tomorrow the Schnee will burn!"
Said the newcomer and none other than Adam Taurus...
Aegis looked as they made their way to the warehouse and stood up to look from the windows on the sun...
"There is no road to hell, but they still come knocking."
Aegis said as his blue eyes radiated frost mist as he looked upon the sun...
"It seems my new toys will get the test run in live-action..."
Aegis said and made his way from the office to his room, where he clothed himself in his coat...
"It will end now, one way or another..."
