This Saturday was quite an atypical day for me. Father, who was working overtime the past few days and returned home every day well after midnight, was preoccupied today and therefore could not go to the training center with me. However, what came next was even weirder.
"Hunter, you don't need to go to the training center today." Father said after both of us had finished our breakfast.
We were sitting opposite each other in the dining room. Father, as usual, gazed softly into my eyes as he said this, acting as though what he just said was rather trivial. I, however, raised an eyebrow immediately when I heard what came out of my father's mouth. "Is there a reason why I shouldn't go to the training center this week, Father?"
