Freya smiled and said mildly, "Carter Group and the canteen both belong to Mr. Carter, so the two of you are free to sit anywhere you like."

Abigail shrugged. She turned to take the food from Gideon and placed it beside Freya and Carol.

"Gideon, let's sit here."

The man said nothing. He sat down and picked up the cutlery unhurriedly.

Freya had already put down her cutlery and seemed determined to get up and leave.

Just when she was about to leave, she saw the vegetables lying on Gideon's plate from the corner of her eye.

She suddenly recalled the night Gideon made her cook for her at home. He refused to eat the food she had made because it contained vegetables and wasted the food entirely.

Freya picked up her cutlery once more and scrutinized Gideon.

The man was elegantly eating his vegetables.

"Freya, what are you looking at?" asked Abigail suddenly.
