I catch sight of Alessandro behind the guy and he's all tied up in cuffs and chains. He looks like he's trying to get out of them so it's almost like he's paying no attention to what is going on right now.
Or I think he isn't. Suddenly he looks at me and then at the guy in front of me and shakes his head in a pitiful way.
What does that mean?
'That this guy could very well bury you and no one would do anything about it.'
Stop imagining gruesome deaths for me. It's not happening.
"You really have no limit. It seems you can't even bother to pay me any attention." military guy says and I wince.
'How hard is it not to screw up?'
How hard is it to shut up?
Military dude's eyes widen and I hear a couple of gasps.
I must have said it out loud.
Then his eyes narrow in anger, shooting death darts at me. "Who is her first opponent?"

Myst3ryqueentory I'm so sorry I haven't been updating this book I was supposed to continue this month but my phone decided to get faulty the month before. Which meant I had to choose one book to update daily. Twisted secrets requires that I pay lots of attention to the details so as not to make any careless mistake. The time it would take to create the chapters wouldn't be enough for me to write and update on a regular basis especially considering how irregular power supply is and the state of my battery. This is my favorite book so far because I love the mystery and secrets. I've been seeing the votes given by those who are still supporting this book and I am truly grateful. I'm seeing what I can do about the phone issue and updating this month. I don't want to get your hopes up too much but I might be able to continue updates this month. However, it might not be regular. Thank you so much for your understanding and thanks for the power stones Als_Darkangel
