Chương 22: Next distention
It's been three days since the battle between Quer and Lucci. Kyrin noticed that Lucci disappeared for two days and he has gotten really anxious because he thought that Lucci will fasten his plans to get the blueprints of Pluton but he returned eventually.
Kyrin had theory that Lucci went to Eneis looby to find more about Quer and hopefully that's it.
In those three days he usually spent it alongside Loke to know about him more. Kyrin saw his dedication to be a shipwright so he felt relieved and happy that he got a reliable crewmate, Kyrin asked Loke his reason for accepting his invitation.
"Ever since I was a kid I wanted to go out and explore the world and have fun alongside friends I made on the journey but In the same time I wanted to stay with my family and If I went to the Sea I can't take them with me because how dangerous it is."
After hearing what Loke said he asked him about why he didn't become a Marine or a merchant or anything legal so he can explore the sea without being hunted down.
Loke eyebrows twitched but he answered none the less : "It's because I don't trust the Marines so even If I done something legal maybe they will get me in trouble If they didn't like me or got orders from above , that's all."
'I'm guessing he was close to Tom and knew how Spandam Plotted against Tom in order to obtain Pluton blueprints so he doesn't like any government associate in general'
Kyrin didn't press on the matter since it was quite sensitive for Loke so they just hanged out for the rest of the day.
Kyrin noticed that Loke had a cheeky and cheerful personality even when working but he doesn't slack one bit however when someone is rude or did something to him he'll return the favor doubling what they did to him.
Thanks to the pirates who acted rude and cocky Kyrin knew that Loke was honest when he said he is a capable fighter since he has beaten 15 pirate without a scratch all alone using his fists.
After finishing his work at Galley-La for the day Loke took Kyrin and hang out till the sunrise because Kyrin planned to leave Water seven whenever Zangestu's scabbard is finished which he didn't use since he got it.
The two went to gamble and Kyrin noticed that Loke is even worse than Rayleigh!.
During his stay with Rayleigh and Shakky Kyrin noticed that Rayleigh is not distend to be a gambler since every time he goes to gambling he returns empty handed.
The next day Kyrin visited the blackmarket to figure out how to change his nickname but actually it was complicated in some way since he needs some merit in order to have a nickname and once it's set It's hard to change it.
Since he wore a black robe and he was barley having mercy on someone when he was hunting pirates he got the name of Shinigami so If he wanted to change it he needs to do something different to a lot of groups and leave many of them alive so they talk about them then he needs to pay someone to spread new rumors about him, after doing a little bit of research he found out that "Big News" Morgans is one of the Kings of the Underworld and Doflamingo is one of those four Kings but he's pretty much have all the control over the Underworld in the New World.While Big News Morgans controls the information all over the world.(Big news Morgans is the big white bird at big mom party).
After further investigation he also found out that Germa 66 is a force that shouldn't be angered in the Underworld and since their weapon production is on a whole another level from their rivals many forces are allied with them.
Kyrin asked on how to communicate with Morgans but he was laughed at , since Morgans can cut deals with Kings and big organizations so how could he pay attention to a petty Pirate Hunter?
Kyrin proceeded to contact Morgans's company which control and spread newspapers around the world.
After fifteen minutes of trying to contact the company they have finally picked the line.
Kyrin told them that he's Indra and he would like to change his nickname.
"Hmmm... Indra? Doesn't ring a bell. Can you give me further information?" Asked one of World Economy News Paper employees.
"You know the pirate hunter who was active not a long time ago in Sabaody Archipelago? Who wears a black robe with Red clouds and an orange mask. That is me.Can you change my nickname?"
After getting specific information he finally remembered who is the caller.
'He said his name is Indra .... Better get it recorded' thought the employee
"Unfortunately nicknames aren't changed that easily since it will confuse the people. you must do certain things in order to change it.Since you're a pirate hunter you need to hunt them down in a another you haven't tried before. then you must pay us to amplify the rumors about you so the new nickname will take over the one before."
"Okay I got it" after feeling the whole process is a little bit of headache he decided that he'll deal with it later.
'My Sword's sheath will be finally finished within a few hours and this one barely fits him.'
"Hey Zangetsu Are you excited about your new home?"
A few seconds passed and Zangetsu didn't buzz or vibrate as If it is a normal sword.
'I guess It's mad about me not using it'
A few hours hours Zangetsu new sheath is finally finished and it costs around ten thousand Beris and the reason for that is it is made from high quality metals in order to withstand attacks If it received one.
The sheath is black, decorated with dark red clouds all over it.
After pulling Zangetsu from its old sheath and putting it back into the new one Kyrin asked the sword the following: "How do you like your new home?"
Again Kyrin got no response....
'Am I dealing with an angry wife or a sword?!'
Kyrin didn't ask it again and went back to the Underworld to see if he can catch a ride or take a job that take him to the North sea.
Fortunately Kyrin found a two destination mission, their first stop is an island in the middle of Paradise then they will head out to the North sea.(Paradise is the first half of the Grand line and the second half is the New world)
His mission is to protect some type of illegal Cargo from pirates and the Marines if they investigated the ship and they'll set sail in three hours.
Before going there he figured that he'll say goodbye for now to his future crewmate so Kyrin went to Dock 1 where Galley-La company employees work.
When he reached the gate of Dock 1 he saw Iceberg,Kaku and Kalifa leaving the Dock and of course they noticed him.
Kyrin saw them coming towards him and he wondered what are they up to.
When they finally reached Kyrin Iceberg said :
"Ohh you're Kyrin right? Sorry that I didn't meet you and thank you for saving many people who are dear to me."
"No need for your thanks Iceberg-san , I've done my job that's all."
"You're who defeated the pirates huh?" Kaku said as touched his chin.
'I really feel bad for you Iceberg, you have three assassins in your company ready to betray you at any moment' thought Kyrin as he looked into Kaku and said :
"Yeah I did... They weren't that strong so I don't really know how he got that high bounty"
"Heh.... mind sparing for a little?" Kaku asked Kyrin.
"I'd love to but I have to catch my ride after saying goodbye to Loke"
"Since you mentioned Loke what the hell happened to him? He was a different person ever since he got back." Said Iceberg.
"How did he change? I didn't know him until I saved his father"
"Well whenever he comes to my company I always ask him to be a shipwright with his extraordinary talent but he didn't show a bit of interest however ever since he got back he took the initiative and asked me to teach him." Said Iceberg
"With his determination and talent I think he'll caught up to me in a few months" Said Kaku
Iceberg nodded and said :
"Well since you're in a hurry we won't take more of your time" Iceberg said
Then the group walked past Kyrin and went to their business.
Kyrin entered Dock 1 and saw Loke working on some kind of ship.
"OI LOKE" Kyrin shouted so Loke can hear him.
Loke who was on top of the ship looked down and saw his future captain and jumped down so he can see what's up.
"Sup Kyrin, Is it time yet?"
"Yes I'll take a ship and head out to the North sea, I come back in two months or maybe a little more anyways Do you remember the time I defeated you using my fist?"
"Yes I do, It was a little bit humiliating to be honest"
"Well I used a power that's available to anyone but it depends on the user If he can awaken it"
"EVERYBODY HAVE IT?? Why didn't you tell me?! I thought it was connected to your Devil fruit."
"Let's leave that for later... Here catch this"
After saying that Kyrin throw a notebook towards Loke and He managed to catch it.
"Since you talked about this strange powers I presume this book is some sort of guide?"
"Exactly , also You shouldn't share it with anyone"
"You seem oddly cautious about your secrets is there any reason?"
"Yes there's and trust me when the time comes you'll know everything but currently is not the right time."
"Okay I'll trust you"
"Then I'll head out, see you in two months Loke !"
"Don't die out there Cap !"
After that the two men pumped their fist against each other and Kyrin followed the path he came from and headed to the location of the job.
When Kyrin arrived at the location he noticed that there's a person that arrived before him and Kyrin of course after leaving Dock 1 he wore his Indra identity so no one will find about Kyrin.
The two didn't utter a sound and that was actually convenient to both sides and they've kept their guard up incase the other side decided to do something foolish.
While waiting for the time more and more people assembled some wore robes and some just masks and some others were revealing their identity.
When the three hours finally passed Kyrin counted down the people who were in the location which was 15 people and as he was doing that a far away ship was getting closer to them.
Ever since he arrived there his Sharingan was active at all times and he focused his vision on the ship and discovered it was a Merchant ship but he couldn't let his guard down because this whole thing might be a trap by the Marines.
15 minutes later the ship finally Docked and a person came out of it.
He clapped twice so he can get everyone's attention.
"Hello everyone, I'm Trevor and I'm the one who published the request"
After finishing his talk no one said anything and Trevor continued:" I think you already know this but I'll explain the mission context incase there's misunderstanding."
"Your mission is simply guarding our cargo against everybody who wishes to steal it and we won't take hostages so we'll be killing everyone we defeat. Food, drinks, entertainment and anything else leave it to my crew we got you covered"
For some reason Kyrin heard shouts from the people who gathered and didn't know why.
Seconds later he figured it out : 'What he meant by entertainment couldn't be women right?!'
Kyrin thought were cut shorts because Trevor continued.
"Marines,Pirates,Citizens, even amongst yourselves, you name it! Now since we are all in the same picture who wishes to dip out I'll give you five minutes and when the timer finishes you're with us."
Four minutes passed and the cloaked person who arrived here first raised their hand.
Trevor gestured them to talk and they did : "I have no problem fighting anyone but the Marines are a different story so I am Out"
Then the cloaked person turned around and walked away but before she could make her tenth step a bullet was fired from the ship to the figure's head.
The figure barley dodged the bullet however a tanned woman jumped from the ship and dashed towards the figure.
The Deserter noticed the tanned woman heading towards him and pulled his sword which was hidden under his cloak.
Kyrin didn't want to escalate this problem any further so he pulled Zangetsu out of his sheath and suddenly everyone stopped.
The tanned women,The deserter, the fourteen other people, Trevor and people suddenly came out of the ship are all looking at Kyrin with strange looks.
Kyrin activated his Mangekyo Sharingan in case one of these fuckers has a wild ideas.
'What the hell happened to these guys?! What's wrong with a man drawing his sword?!' Wait... the moment I drew my sword they turned to my direction but they're not looking at me.... They're eyeing my sword not me..!'
Before they do something to him Kyrin decided to finish the deserter in order to show them how strong he is.
'This is the first time I'm using a Meito I wonder how different it is from the normal swords'
Kyrin then coated his Right arm which was holding Zangetsu with Armament Haki then he kept flowing the Haki until he fully covered Zangetsu.
Suddenly an unexpected thing happened to Kyrin which will have a strange effect later on...
