Chương 537: Qin Wenya's Secrets Comes Out

"What rubbish…"

Qin Wenya's eyes were filled with rage as she stood up from the throne and shouted. 

"Guard, hold her down for smearing Bengong's name."

Anger and panic could be easily sensed from Qin Wenya's loud voice as she pointed her finger at the old nanny. 

Qin Wenya, after all, awas the Empress so the Imperial Guards could not refuse to accept her order. However, just when they were about to shut the mouth of the frightened old nanny, they heard another loud voice booming through the huge banquet hall. 

"Stop!"

It was Zhao Wang Lei. The Imperial Guard immediately stopped amidst whatever they were going to do. 

"Your Majesty…"

Qin Wenya turned around to look at Zhao Wang Lei sharply though she called out to him politely.

Zhao Wang Lei felt very angry at her behaviour. How dare she look at him like that when he was the Emperor!
