Chương 32: Mountain Pirates?

I wasn't expecting to fall at the first step. The ground below me was too weak and the stones fell. With that, I went down as well. Luckily, Oliver grabbed me or it would have been the end of me.

I was in shock after the post-falling experience. Rock Flames gave me some pity time and then started his way down. Oliver was next and I was on top. I looked down whenever my foot touched on the ground. Oliver on the other hand was moving down fast. We had fixed our ropes on the tree branch up top. As we climbed down, I heard a peculiar noise. I looked around to see some men on the tree branch on my either side. The first thing I noticed was that the mountain had two trees. Wow!

The men didn't look happy to see us because the next moment, they pounced on us. If it wasn't for our ropes, we would have been crushed down the mountain by now. A man landed on my head and blocked my vision. He punched me for no reason I could guess. I tried shaking him off but he had a strong hold.

I tried to look at the others. Oliver was fighting two people at once. Rock Flames was also attacked by one of the men. I became anxious. You don't just appear out of nowhere and land on someone's head. I grabbed my battle-axe and unsheathed it. I attacked the man on top of me but he escaped. For a moment, I totally forgot that I was alive due to a rope and was on the edge of dying from a mountain.

I jumped on the man and stroke Magnum in his stomach. He yelled in pain but I didn't care. I turned back to see Oliver who was having a hard time fighting the other two. I went to help and slashed one of them off the mountain. He flew far away and fell on a tree branch somewhere down below. Oliver hit the other man with his sword and he fell down. Rock Flames was punching the guy who fought him. The guy ran away, his face looked ugly after the punches Rock Flames had given him.

"You guys don't even know how to take on three immature people!" A voice said. It was surely a girl's voice. She held the tree for support so she would not fall. "They were puppets. But don't take me lightly." She said.

I didn't like the idea of getting insulted by a girl. "Save it, girl. You don't know who you are messing with." Oliver replied with confidence. The girl grinned and took out her weapon (Or you can even say weapons). She unsheathed two daggers from either side of her waist and got into a fighting position. "These are my weapons. I together call them Uniclaw."She introduced. Something about her told me that she wasn't a joke.

Her daggers were different. The rod with which she grabbed the dagger looked cool. The astonishing part was that the rod was below the blade. For you humans, she looked like Wolverine with that.

I also got ready with Magnum. Rock Flames didn't have any weapon with him but his hands were enough. She yelled and rushed towards us. And so, the fight began.
