The smell of blood filled his nose as Creige looked up at the mountain of corpses in front of him. He had no idea how long he had been in this dark, dingy world. He had lost all sense of time. All he knew was that every day was a dance between that fine line of life and death. 

"I understand all too well why that old man sent me here. My ability to tap into my demon instincts has risen a lot since coming here. To survive in the sea of stars or anywhere above that would take a lot more than power alone. It would take the instinct to learn how to survive and point out those who want to kill you. The beings here have no killing intent. They are quiet and are able to hunt in this darkness with absolute precision. It is actually truly amazing how they are so quiet yet so large." Creige sighed as he looked up at the dark sky.
