Chương 4: Chapter 4.
After admiring the view for a while, I decided to make my way towards the foot of the mountain that I see from the distance. I swam across the 200m width river, and although I was not a good swimmer, since I got almost infinite stamina it wasn't that hard to swim across even if I looked like I was flailing around like a drowning man.
After crossing the river, I started to walk towards the mountain. Looking around, I see the lushes land around me, healthy vegetation scattered around, small hills here and there. It took a while for me to arrive at the base of the mountain since I was just walking and enjoying the scenery.
Reaching the foot of the mountain just doesn't compare the grandness it shows compared to looking at it from afar. Looking up, you can see the mountain piercing through the sky then disappearing amidst the clouds. Looking around the base of the mountain, I see a staircase the goes up and around the mountain, leading to the top. As I walked towards the staircase, I felt a small resistance, almost like a fluffy cloud or bubble but then the feeling disappeared and I made it through towards the staircase. 'That must be the force field Cortana talked about earlier.
Since I'm the owner of this mountain, I could just fly up without resistance, however I don't know how to do that yet, so for now I have to trek up the mountain. Step by step I finally reached the clouds and passed through. The scene pass the clouds is breathtaking. Even though it should be noon, the sky looked like it was the beginning of the sunset, so all around me, there was a tinge of orange gold, whilst the clouds that are now below me were so fluffy looking that it almost looks like you can just jump on them and lie down.
Looking further ahead, I see the ending of the stairway. At the end of the stairway, I see a tall rectangular structure that is hollowed out from the inside that is in a shape of an 'n'. Getting closer, I finally realise what it was. It was a massive Triumphal Arch, where at the apex of the arch was a carving of a side wards profile of a Corinthian helmet with a majestic plume that goes down all the way to the would be shoulder blades of an individual wearing it.
Passing through the Triumphal Arch, I felt as if I became more energized, feeling more vigor and power flowing through my veins.
Alec-''Cortana care to explain why I'm feeling like this? I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but I'm just curious''.
Cortana-''You're the owner of Mt. Olympus, meaning this is your domain, therefore any allies of yours or other Gods in your Pantheon will become strengthened, and their divinity is given a boost. Whilst your enemies, unwanted guests or neutral individuals will become weakened.''
Huh, perks of owning your own domain I guess. Well it's not really my own divinity domain, more so my land. Speaking of which, I need to start planning for my future.
Alec-''Cortana, when does Odin arrive here to conquer this realm?''
Cortana-''Odin has just begun conquering the soon to be 9 realms with his Asguardian army and his daughter Hela. However, it will take roughly 1000 years to get to this realm due to it being the last realm that Odin was supposed to get before he decides to become benevolent. And the other 8 realms also have the power to contend with Odin since Asgard as of the moment is not the dominant power. Odin also has just finished with finishing the Aesir and Vanir war and Hela is as of moment still young and inexperienced, so the 'sword' of Odin is still a rough and blunt blade. All in all, you will have plenty of time until Odin arrives. But be warned, the Asgardian army that will inevitably arrive will be a battle hardened, elite army that has known victory and defeat, and eventually ascending to become conquerors. Be prepared.''
Well then, guess I need to first work on myself, to learn how to control my strength and learn to actually fight before preparing for the grand event. Now I first need to summon someone that can teach me...
