Chương 96: Chapter 95 : You're so cold.
Nectar found a pare of white knee length leather boots she'd had made earlier from some leftover fabric. The dress makers didn't quite understand it at first but they turned her descriptions into sketches and followed it to the latter.
She picked out black fur lined trousers to match, it was getting colder and colder so it was nice to feel warm [ I can't wait to roll in the snow ] She then used her hands like a scale [ Should I do it as Red or the empress? ]
She tried to outweigh one side and suddenly balanced her hands with a smile, " I'll just do it as both. I can't wait ". Nectar was already imaging all the snow she'd play in as she got dressed.
She skipped over to Liam's room without knocking and luckily, he'd somehow managed to get himself dressed. Nectar sauntered over to his closet and picked out some comfortable looking boots for him to wear.
" Why are you still up "? Nectar sighed, flicking his forehead, " I was too worried about you to go back to bed ". Liam smirked, putting his injured hand over her shoulder " Awwn, my Qidu is so grown up now. Even admitting she's worried about me ".
Nectar reddened as she pushed his face away stammering, " Nonsense, I just thought annoying you would be a lot more fun than staring at the ceiling ". Liam's smile didn't let up as he chased after, " You find me more interesting than the ceiling, that means a lot ".
Nectar felt her face twitch as she walked downstairs with Liam after her. When she got to the bottom of the stairs, she face palmed him " Will you just shut up already "?
Liam only took her hand off gently and put it too his check " But you love the sound of my voice ". Nectar sighed in defeat as she let him rub his cheek on her hand, " You're not yourself, we should call you a doctor ".
Liam refused trying to hug Nectar which she refused, " What are you doing "? Liam pouted slightly as he pulled her closer, " You feel cold, its nice ". Nectar frowned slightly as she gave in [ Must be the real hell fire...I should have bashed that girl's face first ]
" But only for a little while ", Liam seemed satisfied and hugged her closer, rubbing his cheek on her neck [ He's acting like a sloppy puppy ], " Can't you get colder "? Nectar frowned slightly but he went on " Like snowy cold ".
Nectar didn't bother with him as she lowered her temperature, " Better ". Liam nodded, hugging her tightly as he carried her limp body in his arms [ I think I like the wounded version better. He's like a new puppy ]
Then they heard a commotion at the gates and Liam suddenly dropped her. Though unharmed, she glared at him before accepting his help and walked to the gate. " What do you mean I can't see the empress? Please, it's urgent ".
Nectar walked faster and saw Princess Lucia. She had on a long thick pink robe and some slippers, it was obvious she rushed over here. The guard yelled back, maintaining his post " Her majesty isn't available at the moment ".
Nectar could only sigh as she walked up to the two, " Who's causing a racket so early in the morning "? The guard bowed low, " Forgive me my empress, I didn't mean to bother you. But this woman has been insisting to see you for a while now ".
Nectar saw the man was trembling slightly [ Am I that scary? ] and sighed, waving him off " It's fine, no harm done ". Nectar turned her attention to Lucia who seemed worried and distraught " Princess Lucia, you're looking for me so early in the morning because... "?
Lucy spoke hurriedly, the concern in her voice evident " Please help us, The royal clinic isn't open and we dunno what to do "? Nectar blinked a few times, obviously confused and pointed at herself " Why did you come to me "?
Lucy sniffed slightly " I dunno, Brother Kancor said I should come ask for you're help ". Nectar sighed, scratching her head " Alright. Let's go ".
As Nectar followed, she could feel Liam staring daggers into her back and had a cold sweat [ I'm so screwed. Whatever this is, don't let it be related to the girl from last night. Please ]
