Her delicate lips gently touched his. It was quick and short bliss but her body quivered tremendously like an earthquake, her heart drumming fast with every beat on her chest.
Youngjae sneered, "It was a really good date, huh???"
The tone of the man's voice was irritated, almost angry.
He stepped closer to her and whispered, "I'll make this date special."
One of his arms stretched out to reach the back of her neck and the other guided her torso to lunge herself closer to his body. Her eyes gazed up to his brown narrowed sights. Closing slowly as his lips became a hair's breadth away from her face.
It was a kiss she had always dreamed of.
His lips pressed onto her tenderly. Her hands-on his chest, sensing his beating heart was like music synching to the movement of their rims. She savored the moment of their harmony.
He carefully sipped her lower margin, enticing her to slightly open her mouth and allow his little naughtiness in. His hand on her nape pressed her lips deeper into his. She felt like drowning with his kiss. A loud gasp for air came out of her brims. Their lips parted but her eyes were still shut from the exhilarating glee.
She could hear him catching his breath.
But it wasn't enough. He moved her body towards the parked car. Setting her back against the door of the vehicle. His lips began to nibble her. Craving the taste of their kisses. His tongue swept her mouth open. She felt it discover her depth. It was excitingly different.
It was titillating to her senses.
Her body warmed up from her head to her feet. She could feel him wanting more. His hands were caressing not only her back and neck. It brushed along her hips gradually coming up to the side of her ribs.
!!!WANG!!!
!!!WANG!!!
!!!WANG!!!
The car suddenly alarmed. Soojin quickly shoved the man away from her body. She scanned their surroundings for anyone that could have seen them kissing. But the street was clear.
The alarm continued to blare. Youngjae clicked the unlock button of the car to make it stop. He stared in her direction with a considerable gaze.
"It's late, I should go."
Soojin nodded her head and hesitated to answer. Her lips were still quivering from the thrill of their kiss and she didn't want to stutter. Her feet quickly moved towards the door of her apartment. Before she opened it, the man called her name.
"Soojin!!!"
She turned her face around. "Yes???"
"I'll see you next week." He waved the movie tickets in the air.
She smiled, "Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Youngjae curved her lips and waited for the woman to enter her house. He paused for a few seconds before he turned to the entity standing in front of the car. His eyes narrowed, pursing his lips.
"I'm not the one who initiated the kiss."
He sneered and got into the driver's side of the vehicle. After he set his seat belt around his chest. The vehicle shook heavily from an unknown force.
"SHIT!!!"
He grabbed on the steering wheel and the top of the car. It continued to tremble while he glared at the apparition outside. His eyes flickered red fighting the unnatural energy coming from the malevolent spirit. It finally stopped as it disappeared into the thin air.
Ghost was furious. He thought the female entity was only a spirit protecting Soojin but with this power to move large objects, it had intense emotions kept within its soul before it died. Anger. And it has a deep connection to the therapist.
"Tsk… you think that will scare me???"
Youngjae steered the car away from the woman's house and drove back to the parking lot where the real Gil Youngjae died. He left it inside the vehicle and took the souls of the other mafia men under Mr. Ryo. Disguising himself as the right hand of the boss helped him a lot in finding the man who killed Ryo Sun Ah.
It wasn't Gil Youngjae.
But Mr. Ryo thought it was him. Shot him in the head without hesitation. He may know who killed the man who owns the face he wears but avenging his death would create a bigger problem.
Especially that Soojin stood as a witness to a crime. The therapist's life would be in danger again.
He reached for his phone in his pocket. The man on the other line yawned answering his call.
"You have a new case???"
"Yes."
"Where's the body???"
"I already took it home."
Ghost could hear the detective curse away from the phone.
"I told you, I would decide whether you take the body away from a crime scene or not."
"I need to hide this one away or you will collect more bodies on the street tomorrow."
"You said the same thing with Ryo Sun Ah and I continue to collect police reports of assault from his father's men."
"At least they are not dead."
The investigator scoffed. Ghost knew the detective was losing patience with him. They were supposed to be working together to find the perpetrators of the crime. A man who gives justice and a man who kills for vengeance. A perfect match. But sometimes protocols must be broken to avoid casualties.
"Who died this time???"
"Gil Youngjae."
"Damn it!!! The son of the dragon group. The ones who own shipping lines and control the ports. The two families will be officially at war now that both of their children are dead."
"Do you still think it's a bad idea to hide his body???"
"No. But we need to find the one behind Ryo Sun Ah's death. If only Ms. Han can help us."
Ghost expected the detective would bring the woman's name again. Sungmin would constantly tell him about how beneficial it is to have someone who can distinguish a person guilty of a crime like a psychologist.
And he would decline and tell the detective how annoying the woman was investigating on her own about their previous case.
"It's better if she's not a part of this mess." Ghost suggested.
He recalled the kisses he shared with Soojin. The taste of innocence on the woman's lips was like sweet honey he couldn't resist. He would have to do something to make the woman hate Youngjae but if the therapist kissed him again, he wouldn't stop it.
