From the cliff, several fiery arrows began flying from the horizon. The arrows are aimed at the approaching ships.

But the arrows are easily quelled by the defensive maneuver of the soldiers on the ships.

Though it caused some to be hurt, yet it was not enough to destroy or even burn any of the ships that are approaching the village of Merak.

One volley of arrows after another came down raining in the skies lightning the darkness.

But it was not enough to stop the advance of the ships of the empire.

"Ballista! On the eastern cliff!" shouted a spotter.

This immediately made the soldiers turn their attention to the woods on the eastern cliff. On a ship, a soldier suddenly takes out his bow and then fires an arrow, as the arrow flew it began to emit a powerful surge of energy.

That energy pulsates and became like a burning fireball.
