Inside the room.
Zhenyi was spread out on the vast bed, under a white sheet, and comatose. She looked extra pale and extremely peaceful like she was in one of those slumbers which carried nothing but sweet dreams and promises of a better future like the dark night had passed, and tomorrow there would be a new morning. The sun of hope and prosperity would rise again.
The oxygen mask was helping her to breathe, tubes were connected to her head and a drip was poked into her arm. It was such an absurd condition, the woman who would die before accepting any aid was connected to machines to support her life.
A nurse was checking her vital signs and another noting something on her notepad as a figure approach approached Zhenyi.
"Master," they greeted and Ryuu held up his hand to stop them. He was in no mood to hear their greeting especially when his simple orders were not followed.
