Countless supermassive blackholes appeared in all directions. By countless, it really means countless. It was like a sea of stars everywhere.
Black holes are supposed to be invisible, however, space was filled with bright quasars. The sheer rotational power of celestial entities made the materials around them spiral at an unbelievable speed, creating a massive output of energy.
Like how the Blazara have eaten the first one, all the others came towards it. Some orbited, some crashed into each other, resulting in a magnificent show the laws of the universe cannot handle, while some were already near Ayensi.
Ayensi "stood" unnerved. He didn't retrieve his weapon back, instead, he raised it without fear.
"But I have faith in my sword."
More than a dozen trillion years later, Ayensi's patience paid off as his Blazara had eaten the sea of destruction.
There was now nothing except him and his sword.
Time is nothing in front of Ayensi.
"What's next?"
All this time, the condensed dark energy inside of him was accelerating the speed at which he should explode. However, even after how many millennia, it was still not enough to move Ayensi's tenacity.
Although for once, he did break a bead of sweat when more than three hundred thousand black holes, which have eaten a dozen of their own kind, orbited around him and his Blazara.
"Under the laws of physics, black holes are the most terrifying of all existence." Ayensi muttered.
"Not that I failed to overcome its strength when I was still juvenile..." followed by a smirk.
He stood, waiting for the next event to happen. He knew that just like him, the Creator is not affected by time. Meaning, everything from the birth of the universe until the present is not that different from a blink of an eye.
But that is also why it was strange that nothing is happening. There shouldn't be a pause somewhere but there it was.
Did the Creator get bored?
'I'm not sure...'
Is the "battle" already finished?
'I've only produced one bead of sweat...'
But as Ayensi question the situation at a speed that no normal human could follow, a dot appeared in front of him.
It was incredibly fast, however, Ayensi's reaction was faster as he grabbed onto that dot before it exploded.
A bright light pierced through the gap of his fingers. Ayensi's face twitched, almost loosening his grip onto the bright light that almost consumed him.
"Hmph!"
Ayensi tightened his grip even further and bright light vanished. His hand trembled a little as he opened them to see a black substance that vanished into space. His palm was reddened, skin a little bit tore off, and drops of blood floating in front of him.
In an instant, that wound vanished.
"This is the first time that I had the opportunity to stop the start of everything."
Ayensi, who is an old monster, had lived more than what life can offer. New experiences are a delight for him and this time is no exception.
"Only the Creator could do something like this..."
Ayensi then fell into deep thought before muttering, "Humanity, huh..."
"I must admit, although I have traveled and seen what is there to be seen, I have yet to fully experience humanity itself. Like how last life, I just holed myself in my house. Social life, is that it? Depending on others is a natural human trait. However, as capable as I am, I never once depended on others, therefore, I didn't need socializing."
Without just a little thought, Ayensi figured what the Creator wanted him to do and experience.
After all, there is only one place Ayensi found that has humans in it and that is Ressuim. When he went off and ventured to another plane, there were no others like him.
Life is such a mysterious thing before but Ayensi figured out that it was not part of nature, but is created by the one and only God.
There may be entities in other planes, they are far from life- humans.
But why would the Creator wanted him to experience such a thing is still a puzzle for Ayensi. For him, there was nothing special about socializing.
To this, Ayensi just shrugged his shoulder.
"I lied, I'm actually afraid to die. I may be able to hold off against Your next attack but I'm sure an omnipotent being like Yourself wouldn't stop there. So there you have it..."
Ayensi then looked at the old man in front of him.
"I lost and I agree"
The old man who was not there before nodded.
That was when the time came back before Ressuim was destroyed.
Ayensi found himself standing in front of the Immovable Shield.
'Judging from the surrounding, this should be the time before I touched the shield.'
He looked around and saw the terrified faces of the so-called Gods of Ressuim and the Guardians.
"W-what happened?" Goddess Shiena gulped and asked.
Ayensi raised his eyebrow. It took him only a moment before he realized, "You remembered what happened?"
Shiena slowly nodded.
Seeing other's similar reaction, Ayensi concluded.
'The Creator didn't erase their memories of what happened... very convenient.' he smiled.
Ayensi looked over the Gods which immediately took their attention.
"From now on, no one will call themselves Gods, whether or not you are in front of me. You will all be called Celestials, no exception, agreed?"
He casually removed the Godhood from everyone there with that simple sentence. And yet, no one muttered disapproval.
The sea of Celestials who were on their knees answered in unison.
"By your orders, Godking."
Seeing their Gods act like a mortal military in front of Ayensi no longer surprised the Guardians. After seeing Ayensi's power, it suddenly felt natural that all shall kneel to him.
"No, no," Ayensi waved his finger, "Don't call me Godking. Just call me casually like All-High or just Master."
Hearing this, Shiena didn't hesitate to bow down and call, "Yes, Master."
She felt like a teen who got closer to her crush.
"Okay then, you all go back to your place." Ayensi waved his hand before looking at the Guardians who didn't know what to do.
