Chương 25: Aftermath of the Fall Don Papito
The next morning, Robin woke up and felt that she wasn't on Don Papito's bed anymore. She felt disgusted and ashamed of herself as she felt so weak that she was almost defiled by Don Papito. Then she saw Alex, who was sleeping beside the bed and was holding her hand, and felt her heart warm as he killed Don Papito because of her. But she didn't think more of this because it might just be a captain protecting his crewmates. But as much as a small part of her wanted to have a little bit of her captain's feelings, she would have to hide these feelings as she would probably leave the crew when they get to the Grandline. This was because she had many people who would want to capture her and kill her and would probably harm the crew because of her.
Alex felt that she already woke and saw her looking at him. So he gave her a smile and then hugged her while saying "I thought I lost you."
Robin was surprised at the hug and was also still a bit shaken up about what happened yesterday. Her emotions just now sunk in and she was crying in Alex's embrace as she felt safe and sound in his arms. After they hugged for a while, Alex asked if she was okay and Robin, who couldn't speak because of the trauma that was caused to her, just nodded. Alex saw this and just told her to rest as he went out to meet with Franco and the others to discuss what would happen to Falgus Haven now that Don Papito was now gone.
Alex went outside and saw the bloodshed that he, his crew, and the rebels caused as there were multiple dead bodies that were littered on the roads. Alex also saw some rebels who were burning the corpses of Don Papito's men while burying the rebels as they wanted to really get rid of Don Papito and his men and would rather burn them than bury them in their lands.
"So Jeff, what are you going to do about Falgus Haven now that all of Don Papito's businesses and properties are yours?" asked Alex as he was talking to Jeff.
"I plan to free all the slaves, lower the taxes, and use all of Don Papito's money to rebuild Falgus Haven to make it a culinary island since there are many good chefs and restaurants here that were being wasted because of Don Papito's rule." said Jeff as he laid out his plans for Falgus Haven.
"If you need ingredients, just go to Wallachia Island as they have some rare fruits and vegetables that they sell." said Alex as he tried the food there and was amazed at how it tasted.
"How long are you and your crew going to stay here?" asked Jeff
"About a week just to give Robin time to rest and to give Fraulein and Braga enough time to pack up their things." said Alex as he wanted Robin to rest as he didn't want her to push herself after what happened to her. 'Robin is a strong woman, she wouldn't waver because of this. I'm sure she will come out of this situation stronger.' thought Alex.

After a week Falgus Haven has changed significantly as the streets and alleys are now being cleaned and people are now joining in rebuilding the island to attract merchants as they try to clean their reputation as a lawless island.
Alex also checked on Robin everyday as he was worried that something might happen to her again. But was happy that she was improving her mood every day and trying to overcome this dark time in her life.
It was now time for them to set sail towards the Organ Islands as Alex heard there was a miracle surgeon in one of the islands there that could heal any disease. Alex would want to recruit this doctor on his ship so that they would have to worry when they were ill or when there were injuries in his crew. But before they would sail there they would first stop by Syrup Town to see if they could buy a bigger ship for them as their current ship would not survive in the Grandline and it would also not fit all of his crew members that he would be recruiting in the future.
As they were at the port, there were a lot of people thanking him and his crew for getting rid of Don Papito. Alex and his crew said their thanks as well for letting them stay in the island and continued their journey towards the Grandline.

ImStar0710 My novel will still follow the canon timeline, but since my OCs would be added there are more things that would change in the One Piece World. This novel is just a product of my ideas that I got while I was reading about One Piece.
