Chương 50: It's time to test my power and Aisha's power!
We arrived at the Undead's territory. I say,
"Mister Zee, Mister Vex... This is not real... Right?"
Zee replies,
"Hmm... this is indeed interesting. Lady Aisha, let's go down, it will be bad if they noticed that we are here. Vex, open the portal here. I don't care if it's still too far from the enemy's territory, everyone's safety is our priority."
A huge castle and a massive portal behind it. I can say that the undead army is a lot more than before, a million of them, and still increasing. We landed as Zee requested. Zee told Vex to open a portal first and get back. He told Vex to close the portal as soon as he gets there and open the portal again when everyone's ready. He did as Zee told and it's only Zee, Aisha, and I who stayed behind. Zee says,
"I'll take care of the portal behind that castle and kill them all who pass through it. Val, can you handle the front line on your own?"
I'm looking at Aisha and she says,
"Hmm? What do I think? Yeah, you can handle it, just be cautious. I'll guide you through it."
Zee replies,
"Good. We have an hour or so. Let's do our best to reduce their strength before Shive and the others come here. I'm counting on you, Val. Let's do this."
I reply,
"Yes, Mister Zee. I'll do my best!"
Zee left and flying to the portal. I unsheathed Aisha's sword. We walked into the enemy's territory. Aisha says,
"As soon as the enemy noticed your presence, run towards them and use Chain Lightning Thorns. Stab the ground and a chain of lightning will came out and impaled the enemies and paralyzed them. It can be as far as you want."
I reply,
"Okay. Lend me your strength, Aisha..."
Aisha chuckled softly and says,
"Of course! that's my promise."
I'm charging in towards the enemy, they noticed my presence and immediately make a move. As soon as I get close to them, I stab the ground and cast Chain Lightning Thorns. As Aisha said, it impaled all the undead and paralyzed them, but it doesn't kill them. It will take a lot of time to kill them one by one. Aisha says,
"Now, use Divine Slash."
I swung Aisha's Sword as strong as I can. It creates a massive projectile attack and hits them all. They became ashes after got hit by it. But the enemies keep coming after all that, and it seems like their numbers are increasing instead.
I ask,
"What should we do, Aisha? They keep coming."
Aisha replies,
"Coat the sword with Holy Flame, and create a Firestorm with the wind element."
I coated the sword with Holy Flame, then I swung the sword over and over in the same direction and create a hurricane. It becomes a huge Firestorm and sucked all the enemies, and burned their bodies to ashes.
30 minutes have passed.
I created dozens of Firestorms and swoop them all. My vision is getting blurry and I fell on my knees. I ask Aisha,
"Huh? What happened to my body? I feel weak and tired."
Aisha replies,
"Hmm... My sword requires Mana to use its ability. Don't worry, I can recharge your Mana with mine, but I can only do this once a day or your body will explode because you forced your body to absorb a massive amount of Mana instantly."
That's scary but at a time like this, it's my only option to buy some times, then Aisha replenished the Mana I used, and I feel refreshed now.
30 minutes have passed, and I'm fighting those who survived the Firestorms and charging towards me. Even though I trained so hard, I can't handle all of them by myself. Exhausted and desperately trying to kill them all, but it doesn't matter because they keep coming over and over again. I ask,
"Is there anything we can do to greatly reduce their numbers? We can't do this all day long."
Aisha replies,
"There are so many ways to annihilate them. I guess this one will be enough."
I reply,
"What is it?"
Aisha replies,
"Black Sun. But I'm afraid that you will pass out from releasing the spell. That's the only annihilation spell you can handle right now, so do you want to try it out?"
I reply,
"Yeah, I trust you. Miss Shive and the others are coming soon, and hope for the best that they will make it in time."
Aisha replies,
"I'll protect you if Shive and the others didn't make it in time, so don't worry. Okay then, point your sword to the sky and cast Black Sun."
I nodded and cast Black Sun. A black ball, as big as a fist appeared in the sky. As soon as I released Black Sun, I almost fell on the ground and I lean my body and rest my arms on Aisha's Sword while kneeling. I finally can stand up even though I'm still learning on the sword. Aisha chuckled softly and says,
"I didn't expect you to be this weak. What kind of sun is that? As small as a fist. The last time I released Black Sun, it was as vast as the sky. But I'm surprised that you are still conscious of this."
I reply,
"I'm just a human being, Aisha. What did you expect from me? And now what?"
Before Aisha can reply to my question, a ginormous portal appears behind me. Shive and the others with her armies are charging into the battlefield. But, as soon as they noticed me standing in the middle of the battlefield with thousands of corpses lying near me and dozens of Firestorms massacred the enemies. Shive is smirking while the others' jaw is dropping and their eyes are wide open from witnessing the scene of the battlefield. They all are running towards me, and Aisha replies,
"Now all you have to do is make a huge explosion from the Black Sun. Use Divining Blast."
I nod and cast Divining Blast. The small Black Sun exploded and creates a massive blast. The enemies turn into nothingness, and the blast dispersed all the Firestorms and burned the enemies into ashes as well. I just annihilated hundreds of thousands of enemies in a few seconds. I fell to the ground and can't move my body. Shive's army shocked by what happened to the enemies, and Shive says loudly,
"Demon! This is our time to take our victory! Charge!"
Shive's army with high morale is charging into the battlefield. Shive, Edith, Vivi, Kiel, and Vex approached me and help me get up. Shive says,
"You did well. Now it's our turn to handle the enemy. You can rest now."
I nod. Kiel is screaming and says,
"Val! What are those spells?! Teach me!"
Aisha chuckled and replies,
"That spell cannot be used by anyone. It's my power. But you can create a similar magic like that, Kiel."
Kiel's eyes are glimmering with joy. Vivi chanted a recovery spell but it does nothing at all. She is confused and keeps trying. Aisha says,
"There's no spell that can help him, Vivi. All he has to do is just to get some rest and he will get better."
Vivi nods sit beside me. Shive asks,
"Val. Did you see Bastian, Anderson, and Wallace?"
I shook my head and Shive continues,
"Hmm... Alright. Vivi and Kiel, can you help my army defeating the enemies? Vex will back you up. Big sis, what are you going to do?"
Vivi, Kiel, and Vex nods and immediately help the army on the battlefield. Edith replies,
"I will... Wait, where is Zee?"
I told her that Zee is preventing the enemies to get through the portal behind the enemy's castle. Edith says,
"Okay, that's all I want to know. I'll help Vivi and Kiel."
Shive and I nod, and Shive says,
"I will find Bastian in the castle. Val, you get some rest here and don't go anywhere, okay?"
I nod. Shive and Edith went to the battlefield.
An hour has passed and everyone is busy fighting the enemies. I'm still exhausted and I'm not feeling any better at all. It's like, no matter how long I rest my body, I can't recover from the fatigue. I heard someone's voice behind me.
"Mister guardian. Are you okay?"
I look behind, and I see Samantha is approaching me with food and water in her hands. She continues,
"Mister guardian, are you hungry? I brought some food and drink for you."
I can't reply to her questions, because if she hears my voice, she will know who I am. I ask Aisha telepathically,
"(Aisha. Can you change my voice?)"
Aisha replies,
"(Hold on...)"
She continues,
"(Okay done. You don't have to worry about it anymore.)"
I reply,
"(Thank you, Goddess Aisha!!)"
Aisha chuckled softly. I reply to Samantha,
"Princess Samantha. I'm fine, thank you for your concerns and the food as well."
Samantha is smiling, she replies,
"Mister guardian, I have so many questions about you and the others. First of all, can I ask your name?"
I reply,
"I'm sorry, Princess Samantha. I can't tell you my name or any questions without Princess Shive's permission."
Samantha frowned and replies,
"Haaah... It's no fun at all! But, thank you so much for everything you all did for us. Without you, it would be impossible for us to handle the enemy."
I reply,
"It's our duty to help Princess Shive, your highness."
Samantha smiled and we talk a bit more.
30 minutes have passed. Zee is still handling the portal behind the enemy's castle.
"This is getting annoying. I have to close this portal as soon as possible."
Zee removed his ring and transformed it into a scythe. He slashed the portal with it and create a dimension crack, and destroyed the portal. But as soon as the portal got destroyed, it immediately reappeared. Zee then gets inside the portal and planning to annihilate the enemies on the other side of the portal. Shive is flying, looking for Bastian the God of the Undead near the castle. She finally found him. At the top of the castle while holding a sword and a staff. Shive landed on top of the castle to kill Bastian. Shive says,
"Bastian, this will end now. Any last words?"
Bastian didn't even interested in Shive's words, and he's still looking at the battlefield. Bastian replies,
"It's been a long time since anyone calls me that name. I'm no longer Bastian. I'm a God now, and you can do nothing about it. If you want to live, then leave and run for your life."
Shive is sighing and ignoring Bastian's words. Then she charging in as fast as she can, but before her sword can reach Bastian, a barrier blocked her attack. Shive surprised and smiled. Shive says,
"So Harbfer is protecting you. Fine, I will do my worst."
Bastian laughed and still didn't pay any attention to Shive. Shive released her full strength. Her presence alone made the whole place crushed by the pressure, the ground is shaking, the sky turns black, the wind is raging and create whirlwinds, anyone who is near her, died from the pressure. Shive then walks towards Bastian with a huge smile on her face. A black and purple eye is staring at Bastian's eyes, her Fear Aura is making Bastian trembling. The closer she gets, the stronger her Fear Aura is. Bastian is finally looking at Shive, but as soon as he's looking at Shive's eyes, he's experiencing the worst pain he couldn't imagine, and the nightmares he has never seen. Shive lifts her arm, then slashes the barrier with her full strength. The barrier is destroyed into pieces, and she lifts her arm again and ready to kill Bastian while he's still in agony. Suddenly a huge black cloth appeared in the sky. Shive's eyes are widened, anger written on her face.
Shive scream,
"HARBFER!!!"
