'What do I do with her? Wait, why didn't she just turn into her Dragon Form?'
As soon as he finished his thought, the Blue Dragon woke up.
"Hmm... Is food ready?"
Opening her eyes, she realized her situation.
Swiftly sitting upright, she looked around her, stopping her gaze at Quin.
"Human..."
"Yes?"
Standing up, she slowly walked towards him.
'Is there more trouble?'
Finally standing before him, she grabs his shirt by the collar.
"DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU DID!?"
'Loud! Thank God for Sound Immunity!'
"I can't go back home! Do you understand!?"
"Nope, not one bit."
"Gah! Forget it! I'll just live by myself!"
Before he could say another word, she sped past him, and fled into the forest.
'I seem to be missing something...'
At that moment, Trayfi woke up.
"...This isn't my house..."
"I guess you're still a bit fuzzy about the details?"
Startled, she turned towards Quin.
"...Those clothes..."
"Ah, I asked if I could use them. You didn't answer me, so I just put them on."
Looking behind her, Trayfi saw her destroyed house.
"It took quite the beating. After the whole thing went down, the ceiling collapsed."
Trayfi didn't move.
She stared solely at the house.
"My Father... He wore those clothes."
'So these were her Father's. I guess I should keep them safe at all times.'
"The House... My Mother made it from the ground up. And although it was small, it was comfortable."
'Her Mother made it? If I picture it in my head, then I could kind of figure out how it looked before.'
"They... both loved to explore the outskirts of the Village."
'Adventurous Parents? That's a twist.'
"They loved to find anything new or interesting. Afterwards, they studied as if someone else would discover it first."
She went silent.
It stayed silent for a long while, and the only sound that could be heard was the flowing of the Wind.
Finally, Trayfi stood up.
"I decided... I want to explore this world, and see the things from the stories they told me..."
She walked towards her ruined home.
Then, she began to make a small hissing noise.
'Magic... but will she be able to breath Fire?'
Slowly, the hissing grew louder and louder.
The noise was almost as loud as a whistle.
At that very moment, the hissing stopped.
Instead, replacing the noise was the sound of Burning Wood.
'She... managed to make a Small Spark and light it on fire.'
"Quin..."
Looking at her face, she had a serious look in her eyes.
"Will you come with me?"
'... Go on an adventure with a Dragon? Sign me up!'
"Sure. I'll tag along. As long as I can kick that Twig (King) in the face, I'm all yours."
With a smile on her face, she sat down and watched the flames grow.
Quin sat down next to her.
In the same moment, he saw something shine in the fire.
'What is...'
Taking of his clothes, he runs towards the fire.
"Hey! What are you doing!"
Ignoring her, he leapt into the fire.
'It was around... There!'
Picking the object off the ground, he quickly ran out of the fire.
"Are you an idiot!? Wait, you're alive!?"
Ignoring her again, he put his clothes back on.
Looking at the object in his hands, it was glowing orange
'Maybe... Ice Magic? Just a little though.'
Activating the Ice Magic, he chilled his palms to slowly cool down the object.
"That was crazy! Why did you... what's that?"
Opening his hand, he revealed a Red and Blue Gem.
"That's..."
Taking the Gem, Trayfi examined it.
"This belonged to my Parents. This is what they used when got Married. This is a 'Tied Gemstone'."
'Tied Gemstone? Like a Destiny sort of thing?'
Gripping the Gemstone tightly, a tear went down her face.
"This is... my last Memento of them. I swear on my life, I will never let their past disappear from my grasp."
As they sat back down, they watched the fire in silence.
. . .
Or at least that was the plan.
Simultaneously, their stomachs growled loudly.
"Ah, we were supposed to hunt for Food."
"Yeah. Should we start looking for something to eat?"
She nods.
Both standing, they walk along the Path, and head away from the Village, and the Burning Remains of what once was a home.

"I got one!"
Trayfi held a fish in her hand.
It's been almost 2 Hours since they left, and they managed to find a small River flowing from the North.
"Nice one. Let me check it just in case."
Trayfi hands him the Fish, and he appraised it.
[Appraising...]

"It seems fine... if you want to eat while Dizzy the entire time."
"What!? Seriously? Is this one a fail?"
"Well, it would be fine for me, but I don't think you should eat this one."
Pouting, she goes back to the River.
Quin goes back to looking for Herbs and Interesting Plants.
'I wonder if I should eat the Paralysis Plants to gain the resistance...'
Taking a few Sting Betty's from the ground, he braces himself.
Taking a bite, he quickly chewed, and swallowed the Plant.
Sitting down, he waits for the effect to kick in.
"Quin! I got another... what are you doing?"
Quin was sprawled along the grass, unable to move.
[Would you like to acquire the Skill {Paralysis Immunity}?]
'I ate a Flower. What do you think?'
[Acquiring...]
Quin sat up quickly, which startled Trayfi.
"Don't scare me like that!"
"Sorry. I was... thinking."
"Thinking? About what?"
Quin looks in the direction of a bush in the forest.
"What are we gonna do about her?"
"Her? Who are you talking about?"
Then, with a rustle of the leaves, the Blue Dragon from before shows herself.
"Huh!? Why are you here!?"
"Tch. Shut up would you! I'm not following you at all! So why don't you just leave me be!"
"What!? Why don't you just go home then!?"
She was silent.
"Umm, can I ask something?"
They both look at Quin.
"Before you left, you said something about not being able to go back home. Is that true?"
Trayfi looked at the Blue Dragon, who was staring at Quin, as if to say he was an idiot.
"We have a Rule in the Village. Rule 13 : If you are defeated by a lesser being with no chance of winning, then you are to serve that being with your life. I completely Refuse! I would never serve a Human! I'd rather Die!"
Quin looked at Trayfi, who seemed to be deep in thought.
"Ah, we did have a rule like that, didn't we?"
'You forgot? How do you forget such an important thing like that!'
"Human! Heed my words! I will kill you!"
"Sure, do what you want. Until then, help Trayfi catch fish while I look for herbs."
"Fish? Ha! Why should I help... you..."
She collapsed.
"Hey! Are you okay!?"
Running next to her, she seemed to be heavily breathing.
Touching her forehead, it was really hot.
"She has a fever. Trayfi, go get some water!"
She runs of towards the River.
Lifting her up, he moves her to a patch of grass under a large tree.
Gathering a bunch of leaves (Non Poisonous), he places them under her head.
Trayfi came back with a Hollowed Tree Trunk filled with Water.
Feeling the water, it was lukewarm.
'Ice Magic.'
Creating small chunks of Ice, he puts them into the trunk.
Taking a Large Leaf (Also not poisonous), he dips it in the Iced Water and sets it on her Forehead.
'Okay. We don't have any medicine, but maybe I can find a plant around here.'
"Trayfi, keep watch over her. I'm gonna go look for something."
"Okay, but stay safe."
Running into the Forest, he leaves them behind.

A few minutes went by, but with no luck.
'Damn it. Why can't I find it?'
Looking around, he noticed an unusual plant.
'A flower? It looks... strange.'
Walking up to it, he takes the Flower.
"Is this helpFUL-"
Before he realized it, he was upside down.
'And this much should have been expected.'
The Ground surrounding the area began folding upwards.
'Large Carnivorous Plants. Pretty Fantasy Like if you think about it.'
Looking up at his feet, he saw his foot trapped in a Vine.
'Should I use Ice Magic?'
Attempting to Freeze the Vine, he used Ice Magic to Freeze his Foot.
As the Ice Grew, it surrounded his Foot along with the Vine.
With a small crack, the Vine snapped, causing him to fall onto his back.
"Good thing it doesn't- oh Come On!"
What he didn't notice was the Spike that grew below him after the Plant began folding in.
It impaled him through the left side of his Belly.
'This is quite unfavorable. Welp, time to get up.'
Forcing himself off of the Spike, he stood up, and barely managed to jump through a gap before the Plant closed completely.
'That was close. Then again, I'm losing quite a lot of blood... I should hurry.'
[Appraising...]

'Finally. It was worth it after all.'
Gripping the Flower, he heads back.
. . .
'Good thing I made markings on the Trees. I also died on the way back, but that's for later.'
"Trayfi! I'm back!"
"Quin! Please hurry! She started coughing really hard, and it doesn't look like she's getting any colder!"
Running to their side, he takes 2 Petals from the Rose and places them in her mouth.
"Hey. I know you can hear me. Chew these quickly, or you're going to have a worst time than what you have now."
Slowly, she closed her mouth and began to chew.
After a few seconds of chewing, she swallowed the Petals.
Another minute goes by, and she has calmed down.
She remained under the tree, Sleeping.
"It looks like it worked. Trayfi, keep an eye on her for me. I'm gonna go get a fire ready."
She nods without a word.
Quin gathered Dry Sticks and Rocks, and made a Teepee Fire within a Stone Circle.
"Hey, Trayfi, Can you try lighting this on fire?"
Standing up Trayfi walks over to the Campfire.
"It'll serve as practice, so I'll light any fire you tell me to."
Kneeling down, she began making a Hissing Sound.
Quin kept watch over the Blue Dragon in the meantime.
'We have 2 Fish, so we'll need one more for her.'
Thinking of what to do next, the fire behind him started.
"I did it! I think it was faster than before!"
"That's good. If you keep at it, then maybe you can breath Streams of Fire."
"Maybe. It's still really hard to use my Magic, but even so, I'll try to use Fire exactly like my Mother could!"
'... Now that I look at her, she doesn't have just Red Scales. Some of them are Blue, but they are barely noticable.'
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head.
'A net. If I can make a Net using Ice Magic...'
"Trayfi, I'm going to the Ri-"
The Blue Dragon was awake.
