Chương 112: The greatest father

Early the next day, Raf once again called to apologize because he would not be able to make the trip this weekend. The problem with the hotel only worsened and there was nothing he could do but to attend to it.

She could do nothing about it but accept their situation for now. She was home while he was miles away from her, so demanding that he prioritized her was not something that she could do. As if she would do that. She could not even ask that he called her more often.

  "Sab, can you check on the steaks for a few minutes? I'll just get some more sauce." Alex asked her as she was the closest one to him. She was just idly standing in the corner as she stared at her family from afar.

His dad finally convinced her to have a barbecue picnic at home. Since she was not doing anything, she eventually conceded to the idea. Like before, everyone made an effort to be present since his dad insisted that it was seldom that they were all available to spend time with him.
