Fernando bowed before the royals, a sign of respect in both worlds. It meant that he was acknowledging the most powerful set of creatures in the supernatural world. The royals on the other hand casually nodded, not that they would ever show they were grateful for Fernando to be here. 

As he sat down, the silence ensued again, no one making a sound, except for the breathing. Even Mustafa the mouthy man was silent. Maybe that was a show of how much trouble he had gotten himself into, but he didn't look the least bit scared. 

Maybe on the outside, he didn't, but everyone had been told horror stories of what happened to people the alphas had to deal with from the throne room. Rumors had it that they were never the same again. Most of them ended up being omegas, but Mustafa was a vampire, so he couldn't be an omega.
