"What?" Charles was confused by Stroph's words. He couldn't think of anyone who might not be interested in the capital.
"I tell you, I'm absolutely not attracted to the idea of going to the capital. I don't know what to expect there or what might happen to me. It's too risky and reckless." Said Stroph.
Even without too much reason, he just wasn't interested in the capital. He saw nothing cool about it. Just a secret piece of land that might hold something. But what it could be- wasn't clear at all.
Besides, Stroph had his own reasons for not going to the capital.
For one thing, in his opinion it was too dangerous. Secondly, even if there was a lot of treasure in the capital, it would still be taken by the four strongest men. Thirdly, Stroph felt that opening the gates might provoke a monster attack, in which case he would be better to stay with his family.
