Chương 7: The Goal 2
Devin was able to adjust with his school a few days later.
During P.E some of the players thought that this was their chance to embarass Devin since he was shining too much for he last few days.
The match started with the other team taking the kick off and they soon bypassed some of the players.
When they reached Devin ,he quickly stole the ball from the other players feet.
With a single glance he was able to find out that there were 9 players he needed to bypass to reach the goal.
With a quick acceleration he soon reached the first player.
Devin did a quick stepover and passed the first player.
The guy fell down on his knees while Devin paced forward,he did a 360 and passed the second guy,then nutmeged the third and fourth player while sprinting towards the goal.
He then did a rainbow flick on the fifth player,and did a volley kick towards the goal.
The shot was so powerful that the players and the goalkeeper had no chance to react.The ball was in the back of the net and it was a goal.
The players could not believe their eyes,and stood there in silence.Even their P.E teacher was astonished.
The players and the girls cheered for him.The match soon continued.
This time Devin stole the ball from the other team and quickly made a shot.
The shot was made from far away,but thanks to his skill Sharp Shooting which he obtained the other day,he was able to place the ball towards the top corner of the post.It was another goal.
Devin celebrated his goal along with his team mates while the opposition was checking the time.
They could not wait for the period to end since it was really embarassing.
After the match was over the school coach who was also his P.E teacher called Devin.
"Devin I never knew that you were this good in football"
"Well I never knew myself,I used to practice a lot,but I never played seriously in a Match"
"Since you are this good at playing,would you like to join the school team,we are really short of good players and a decent striker."
"Thank you so much coach,I would really like to join the team."
Devin then finally joined the school team.
