"Well, they want me to replace my dad as he was getting old."

Lu Jingyi was a bit annoyed that her senior wasn't able to continue his career.

Xu Wenwen teased Luo Yixuan with her question.
"No. They asked if I have someone in mind. They let me choose the one I love."
While saying this, Luo Yixuan subconsciously looked at Lu Jingyi, who was drinking soup and didn't notice Luo Yixuan's gaze, gentlely.
Xu Wenwen caught the sight he was looking. And the first thought, she thought that it was too bad for him. She hoped he didn't get too depress about Lu Jingyi having a loving fiancé.
After taking a few slurps of the soup, Lu Jingyi responded his statement with a smile.
"That's great. At least you can get married to the one you love rather than arranged marriage. Whoever the girl is, I will support you."
"Thanks. I will make sure to make her the happiest girl in the world."
Luo Yixuan looked at Lu Jingyi gentlely but she didn't quite catch that. On the other hand, Xu Wenwen was worried how will they turned out if they find out the girl Luo Yixuan loved was Lu Jingyi.
After some time chatting with each other, nature called for Lu Jingyi. She excused herself to the restroom.
After she was gone, Luo Yixuan lifted his head and looked at Xu Wenwen. He's about to ask something but he hesitated.
Xu Wenwen noticed he was trying to talk with her something but stopped himself.
"What's wrong, Senior?"
"Wenwen, is Jingyi still dating Bai Liancheng?"
"No, they broke up due to Bai Liancheng's cheating."
Luo Yixuan was relieved to hear Lu Jingyi broke up with Bai Liancheng who also a scumbag for cheating her.
He still had a chance, right? Since she broke up, he had a chance to court her. He finally waited for so long to be able to be by her side.
But the next thing Xu Wenwen said shattered all his thought.
"She's got a loving fiancé now. Her fiancé was so romantic and he successfully made Jingyi fall for him. They were so in love with each other now."

Xu Wenwen felt bad saying it to him. She knew he was hurting after hearing Lu Jingyi was taken once again. A quick pain is better than a long one.
Luo Yixuan was depressed but he didn't show it on his face. He was all smiles throughout the whole day.
When Lu Jingyi came back, they pretended that conversation never exist and continued to chat something else.
Lu Jingyi didn't notice anything strange about them. They continued chatting when Lu Jingyi suddenly told Luo Yixuan about Xu Wenwen's date with Mo Zhexi.
"Wenwen, you're officially became Mo Zhexi's girlfriend, right? Congratulations."
"You had a boyfriend now? Congratulations."
Xu Wenwen blushed as she thought of Mo Zhexi.
