Chương 134: King of Cups

Morana decided to not dwell too much on her new appearance. Although she was quite fond of her amber hair, she found her new one just as beautiful and enjoyed its flowy silky nature. 

 Morana observed her last card in the air. 'The King of Cups'. It was the only card she had some kind of meaningful information on. The last person to own the card was her deceased great-aunt Selena. A vastly feared woman by Zoel's words. Died when Leonie was quite young when she saved her much younger brother and future patriarch from an assassination ambush. Selena and Roman were very close as she became the second mother to Roman after their mother's death due to some health complications when Roman was just six years old.

 Matias de Laval, Roman's and Selena's father, was greatly in love with his late wife Apolline, whom Morana is named after. Apolline was from a noble fae family of sirens, but only Selena inherited her genes after that.
