Darius nodded in agreement, this Event was quite balanced. It seemed to gauge the objective difficulty of a task and the subjective difficulty as well. 

To simplify, the Objective Difficulty of something would be the amount of effort required by an average person who met the lowest possible criteria to fulfill the objective. 

In the case of this event, it would be any Journeyman with at least 1% talent in magic. As such, the objective reward would be extremely great to the point where it could have yielded hundreds of thousands of AP and SP. 

However, this was balanced by the Subjective Difficulty. This was basically the amount of effort it would take for Darius specifically to complete the task. This took into account all of his methods, this thought process, his talent, etc.
