Day broke a while ago and we are now in Venezuela. Not that I can tell a real difference being that we are still in the Amazon. It was a bit of creepy night. I could hardy sleep so all the sights and sounds of the forest stuck out like a sore thumb to me. I would love up and I would swore that there was a jaguar up there staring down at us. Maybe there was. Maybe there wasn’t. Either way, I
got no sleep.
Alois and Angelica at least were knocked out and slept like babies, making mine and everyone’s lives a lot easier. As they got up, they started acting like we are on some safari, staring and pointing at everything in sight. I do appreciate their excitement. With how serious everything has gotten it nice to see a reminder to not take everything so seriously.
