Chương 12: Breaking It All Down
Akari slit the tree wall completely in half, forming a rift between it as his sword steamed with energy. His eyes burn with anger and he returned it with a disc made of electricity heading towards them. Mazoku reacted ready to strike it but Akio pushed him away and began to attack the disc with concentrated jabs breaking it apart.
"Don't run like that in front of something like that. You're playing into your enemies plans and that won't help you in the long run especially against a samurai..." Akio remarked to Mazoku, who he shoved onto the floor. "Now get up and fight." Akio leapt out to attack Akari and the group.
"Bastard..." Mazoku said getting up strengthening his body and dashed over with him to attack them behind the tree wall.
Elliot smiled to himself as he pushed to the front lines and powered his palms with flames and, as both demons leapt in to make an attack, they were ambushed by a flame typhoon that flashed with coruscating cardinal colours distracting them.
Akio landed his sight blinded for a second standing and unable to act. He tried to make his way through but he was too unnatural to blind combat. Luckily, his eyesight returned after 2 seconds. But it was 2 seconds too late as Aldrif threw the amulet at him.
"Krrrrrreeeeeeeeeee!" He screeched feeling his demonic skin shedding as it went on. He laid down in pain his body moving uncontrollably. His mind raced crazily and irrationally with torment and blood began to rush frantically and some seeped out his arms. Akio began to crawl off on the grass as a sizzle noise above him as Akari held a katana high up his neck.
"Failures of the fathers always must be placed on their sons..." He muttered looking down on the demon.

Altuzumal roared and leapt up to the sky. Then his wings started build up as he soared over in the caves, mounting above the spires and manuevoring across them quickly and he then rose above to the overhang of the cave and with a growl he slashed it with his large claws and then he dived back down to hit one of the cave pillars and demolished it. The earth began to shake in reaction to it as rocks fell on the nests of birds. "Music to my ears..." he muttered smiling to himself. "I'm coming for you all..."

The quaking earth dropped Akari on his knees and nearly away from his katana. "No!" He said dropping away as his katana slipped from his hands but he held on from his fingers on to it.
But there were more problems to come.
Mazoku slammed down onto him striking with his targeted blows. "Well then Akari. I guess it's going to stay the same way like it was before... But this time, you came over to hurt my allies and this I cannot allow. You will die this time..."
"You are dearly..." He muttered as he then released a colossal collision of lightning onto the demon striking him away. "MISTAKEN!" He then zoomed up towards him to continue attacking him, set on.
Aldrif ran over to Akio who was struggling on the floor and tried to hit him but she was stuck in a tree mesh and she couldn't move out of it since it grown to her extended arm.
"I wouldn't think so darling." Daichi said holding her bow up as she tried to grab Akio and take him away.
"Aldrif!" Elliot cried running to her and producing a flaming mist to stop the two from running off. "Teaming yourself with not one but two demons! You have no shame?"
"Oh boohoo. I'd rather work with these idiots than the sword-wielding maniac you're allying yourself with." Daichi replied shooting quick arrows at them to place small thorn traps to increase the distance between them.
Elliot managed to break the bark away and then Aldrif broke out dashing towards them but to their surprise she hit the ground below causing the thorns to break out and Elliot tried to burn them away leaving the field empty for them to raise an attack but it merely set them aflame and fell onto the grass blazing it.
"Great now you set it on fire...!" Daichi remarked running off, dragging Akio with her. She couldn't let either of them die with the problems she needs to fix. They're her only help.

Alutzumal flashed up the cave soaring up and crashed his head into the cave cieling breaking it to peices and he pushed forward sinking his fangs into it cracking it. The ceiling began to crack more as it nearly and then the tremors started to affect the world above them.
"It's about 20 rocks deep or the size of two humans." Explained one of the birds to the manticore as he smiled ripping it in two and swallowed it's flesh savagely.
"No matter." Alutzumal proclaimed as he looked above at the cracking overhang. "Ten strikes... All it takes... Till I kill them all."

Akari continued to strike onto Mazoku who in reaction tried to dodge away him but then, as he backed off, he dashed off to slash at him. He succeeded in hitting Akari and the flowing blood was the evidence for that.
"You bastard!" Rei clamoured as he sprung up and pounded down onto Ankoku's arm and the charge left him immobile. Luckily, the branch they were on broke on the pressure giving him time and with the other tremors Akari fell off on the other way.
"Yeah, yeah. I really don't wanna kill you now. It's just terribly sad how you struggle." Mazoku took the chance he had and dashed to him after his body began to move.
"You try your hardest to take me out and you brought freinds with you?" He continued to say as he vaulted over to him and kicked Akari sending the obliviouus fighter away crashing.
"Where are they now? They're off fighting a crippled demon and an annoying girl. And they're probably losing." He continued to barge in on him.
"All of this... to no avail..." He muttered until he stared at a scintilating respelendent light coming of him. Mazoku didn't move until he was sent away with a flash from that strike.
"I won't fail today. Your carcass will be evidence of victory!" Akari shouted blood running down from his head.

Akio got up and pushed past Daichi to attack the siblings and spun his hands and struck the flames out. "I may be weakened but I trained years as a demon. My defeat isn't that easy..." He said spinning kicking Aldrif into a into 3 trees. "I'm not running off. I will fight."
"Aldrif!" Shouted Elliot trying to help her but Akio leapt to attack them but he dropped to the floor with Mazoku as Akari zoomed fro the trees and dashed down to strike him.
It wasn't going to be easy to hit him though but he jumped up blocking the hits. He morphed his claws and grown them to stab into him yet keep a distance. 'Control! Finally!' He thought to himself as he jumped away.

He flown out to make a hit his target again. "One." Alutzumal remarked as he plummetted down and flown up again.
Akari walked on the cracking and dropped down falling while Mazoku trudged to him to attack.
"Two."
However, it was returned with a mace to the back by Aldrif, who stood up walking away from Elliot.
"Three."
"Damned beast- Ah!" She said dropping.
"Four."
A boulder rolled down to them as the earth began to break ready to hit them.
"Five."
Akio leapt out to hit the boulder and pushed it down onto the earth and stopping it.
"Six."
He then dropped to the ground as it began to crumble.
"Seven."
Elliot ran across to track the quaking but fell down to the sinking ground.
"Eight."
Daichi understood what to do and she jumped up to the highest and most stable peak which the was boulder above her. She shot an arrow to climb across there.
"Nine."
Mazoku soon fell down lastly as the earth continued to crack and detiorate.
"TEN!"
It all broke down.
The ground continued to fall apart as the rocks and dirt were thrown into the air. The home of Akio broke down in seconds and the boulder Daichi was on began cracking as she jumped up to maintain balance as she continued to pull her arrow energy flowing in it.
Alutzumal finally saw the light of the sun fully glaze on him as his mane flowed. His wings flapped as fear crept on all their faces. He ascended higher in the sky laughing with savagery and returned down spinning.
Everything was destroyed as he dropped down like a bomb eradicating the landscape they were on. They all dropped down and all slowly looked down in horror turning their heads.
"This is the end of Akari!" He cried cackling.
