Chương 65: Fuschia City Gym Battles and Saffron City Gym Convo
Death and Leaf were up early the next morning to meet Janine, while Esdeath, Serena and Valerie decided to wait at the Pokémon Center for them to return. The trio had wanted to go as well, but Death told them that there would be booby traps along the route to the gym and Janine was a ninja, so she would move quite fast, and if they did not match her speed AND perfectly follow her route, they'd end up caught in one of the traps, and while they were not deadly, it would cost them enough time to lose track of Janine.
Leaf, who had pointed out that she wouldn't be able to keep up with Janine, went silent when she heard that Death would be carrying her, and had become quite excited. She found the prospect of him carrying her to be quite arousing.
Since she had a gym battle the next day, Leaf did not object to Valerie spending the night with Death alone rather than with the two of them together, this time, though of course there was a bit of jealousy as she longed to feel complete again, like she only did when he was making love to her. She forced herself to sleep, though, to be well-rested for her battle.

It was currently four in the morning and Death was in bed with Valerie in his ranch dimension. The insatiable minx had only recently fallen asleep after they had been making love all night. Valerie was a beautiful sweaty mess, and had her stomach expanded a bit by all of his semen that was still trapped inside of her, though much of that would empty out once he removed his shaft that was still plugging her up, trapping it inside of her.
Valerie seemed really content, though, so rather then getting up for the day he created a new avatar and sent that back to Fuschia City to meet Leaf. He planned to bring Valerie and join up with Esdeath and Serena once Valerie woke up on her own.

Back at the Pokémon Center in Fuschia City, it was 4:15 and Leaf was already awake and had been in the shower when she was surprised as death suddenly joined her. She was receptive to his advances and allowed him to pin her to the wall of the shower for a bit of morning fun. She knew that they didn't have a huge amount of time, but she still allowed herself to enjoy the moment while it lasted.
As a result of their fun, they had to hastily shower and dress before heading out of their room together to go meet Janine, who they found in the hall just outside of their door "Of course it was you." Janine sighed "These walls aren't soundproof you know."
Leaf blushed and Death chuckled.
"Sorry about that." Death apologized "We were just showering and caved in to temptation."
Janine sighed "Well, since you're up, is it just the two of you coming with me?"
"Correct." Death confirmed before sweeping Leaf up into a bridal carry "And now we're ready."
Janine nodded and started leading them out of the Pokémon Center. Leaf rested her cheek comfortably on Death's shoulder and closed her eyes to rest, trusting him completely..
Janine travelled at a normal speed until they left town, and then she accelerated. She hadn't really expected Death to be able to keep up with her, especially while carrying Leaf in his arms, but he did so easily, and even seemed to be staring at her butt while following her.
"Like what you see?" Janine asked casually.
Death chuckled "Silly question. Of course I do. You are an attractive woman."
"You clearly already have a girlfriend." Janine pointed out to him.
"More then one, and they know about each other." Death insisted .
"Well, I'm not looking for romance right now, and even if I were, I wouldn't be willing to share" Janine insisted.
"That's fine. I might appreciate your appearance, but I'm not going to force a romance upon anyway. There's nothing wrong with truly appreciating a beautiful woman." Death insisted matter-of-factly "Don't you agree, Janine?"
Janine looked at Leaf, who didn't seem to be bothered by her boyfriend admiring her ass, and sighed "I guess it's alright then."
Death saw Janine relax and focus on travelling to the gym. Death focused on following Janine's path carefully while continuing to enjoy the view.
Eventually, they arrived at the gym and Janine turned and looked at them "Here we are." she answered "Now, since you want to challenge my father, I'll be going to see my aunt first." she said before heading inside.
Death carefully set Leaf on her feet and she stood on the tips of her toes and kissed his lips chastely. Death savored the sweet taste of her lips and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"I'm going to challenge him first." Leaf announced.
Death nodded and released her finally to place a necklace around her neck which was identical to his own, as well as Diantha's.
Back when he beat Mallow and won his Rainbow badge, Death had received a Venusaurite from his system, so of course he had given a copy of it to Leaf, who had a Venusaur. "This is just in case you need it." Death reassured her, smiling.
Leaf nodded and smiled as she touched the necklace Death had given to her. "I wont let you down, my love." she gave him another kiss before turning to head into the gym, which oddly looked like a japanese-style mansion.
"Not too fast, though" Death insisted "The traps don't end when we enter the gym. It's quite possible that the whole place is filled with traps, so stay close and don't let go of my hand."
"I don't even need an excuse to hold your hand, dear, but I am happy to have one anyway" Leaf agreed and squeezed his hand as they walked in together.
"The gym leader Koga, as well as Lady Aya and Miss Janine are probably already watching us. Lets navigate these traps so that we can challenge Koga." Death insisted.
"Lady Aya? Who is that?" Leaf asked with curiosity.
"She is the Gym leaders younger sister, the aunt that Janine referred too." Death insisted.
"If you knew that the place was filled with traps, then why did you not ask Janine to guide us through then?" Leaf asked with curiosity.
"That's simple. I am not afraid of a few traps. I am confident in guiding us through them just fine. Heck, I only asked Janine to bring us here because I didn't want to waste time searching through the woods randomly. It might have taken weeks for us to find the place if we had to search randomly, and those are weeks we could have spent more productively." Death explained to her while coming to a stop while walking "Yup, I spy a trap"
Leaf looked at the floor where Death was looking and it took a few moments for hr to spot it "Wow, that's subtle. You've a keen eye dear."
Indeed he did, though he did have a bit of an advantage from seeing the anime as well, as he knew if one of them started to step on that spot it would open up to a voltorb that would give them a shock. Even so, he carefully guided Leaf to stay near the wall and avoided the trap completely.
The traps shown in the show was not every trap that was in the house, so it was good that he was vigilant and managed to identify each of them, finally entering the room where Aya would have attacked Ash and challenged him to a battle before Koga would have appeared after Ash and his Bulbasaur beat Aya's Venonat, but unlike from the show, Death and Leaf found Koga waiting there instead.
"Greetings, Gym Leader Koga" Death greeted him "We're both here to challenge your gym."
"How many gym badges have you acquired?" Koga asked with curiosity.
"Five." Leaf acknowledged.
"Twelve here" Death said smugly.
"Very well. I'll take on the young Miss first, then you. The battle will be one vs one, and will continue until one of our Pokémon is unable to battle or a trainer concedes." Koga was explaining as Janine was coming into the room "Father, if you want, I can take on Miss Leaf, then you can have a two vs two with Death here."
"Are you sure?" Koga asked with curiosity.
"Well, you do plan to pass the gym to me when you are finally able to join the elite four in the future, dad. I may as well start acting like it." Janine insisted.
Koga grinned at his daughter and nodded "Very good!" he glanced back at Leaf and Death "You heard her, so it will be two versus two. Miss Leaf, you can take on my daughter first."
Leaf nodded and went to get into position, as did Janine, while Koga and Death moved off to one side where Koga could act as referee. "You look excited." Death commented to Koga..
"Of course I am. My daughter has been away for training a bit over a half a year. I am eager to see how much she has grown as a trainer.
Death nodded to Koga, understanding well what it meant to be a doting father as he was one as well.
"Begin!" Koga called out and Janine sent out a Crobat while Leaf sent out Nidory, her Nidoking.
"A Nidoking....impressive" Koga said with a grin as the battle began.
The pair, Leaf and Janine, went all out, with Janine's Crobat having a slightly higher level, while Nidory had a slightly higher potential. though it was close enough that the battle could have gone either way, and in the end it became a double knockout.
Leaf recalled Nidory and Janine her Crobat, then they simultaneously called out their second Pokémon.
Saur was sent out by Leaf whlie Janine also sent out a Venusaur of her own.
"Use that, Leaf" Death suggested to her, Janine's Venusaur was also white potential, unexpectedly, and had a 14 level advantage over poor Saur, o he judged that her only chance at winning was via mega evolution.
Leaf did not doubt Death and placed her hand on the necklace that Death had given to her and followed his instruction on using it "Beyond evolution...Mega evolve." she whispered.
Koga was surprised by the sudden Mega Evolution of Venusaur "That's....like the Kalos Champion Diantha..." he noted.
"Indeed. As a gym leader or gym trainer you aren't allowed to talk about what we do in here, so I don't mind telling you that I taught Diantha and her Gardevior how to do that. It's called Mega Evolution, and it required the use of a Key Stone and a Mega Stone. It'll be made public knowledge in the near future by Professor Sycamore, but for now Key Stones and Mega stones have so far only been found in the Kalos region." Death explained to Koga, and indicated the Key Stone within his necklace that matched Leaf's and Diantha's.
Koga could only be a bit surprised, but promptly brushed it aside and watched the duel, which Leaf ended up managing to win, though it was hard fought and Janine made her earn it.
After declaring Leaf the winner, Koga looked at Death "And your Pokemon are able to Mega Evolve as well?" he asked
Death nodded in affirmation "A couple of them."
"Good. Show me a good fight" Koga said before going to get into position.
Death, meanwhile, went to hug and congratulate Leaf before taking his place for a Duel, with Janine acting as the referee.
Death sent out Rasu right away and mega-evolved her into Mega Charizard (X), and thereafter had no problem beating Koga's Venomoth, then after a bit of struggle defeated Koga's Golbat as well.
The victory was quite satisfying, and led to his system giving him 10,000,000 more shop points and a Gengarite Mega Stone, which made the trip definitely worth it.

After receiving their soul badges, Death and Leaf teleported back to their room at the room that they had at Fuschia City Pokémon Center, where Esdeath and Serena were waiting.
"You're back!" Serena said excitedly and went to hug them both "How did your battles go?"
"We both won. Where is Valerie?" Leaf asked looking around.
"She's still asleep in my dimension" Death told Leaf "She got quite the workout last night"
"Maybe I can join the two of you tonight?" Leaf suggested with a blush.
"If Valerie is ready for that then I don't mind" Death insisted. He wasn't a prude, and had been in threesomes or even moresomes with his wives and lovers numerous times in the past, so having two at once wasn't so hard for him.

POV Serena Gābena
Serena sighed and looked at Esdeath, glad that at least one of her companions wasn't actively sleeping with Death, though she still looked at him full of lust, so it was likely only a matter of time.
Granted, she also had growing romantic feelings towards Death, and certainly was in no hurry to separate from him, but she'd never been with a man before and the prospect of it seemed fairly daunting, especially after hearing from Valerie and Leaf about how huge he was down there. She truly wondered if he would even fit down there or if she would be broken if he tried.
A part of Serena wanted desperately to believe that they were exaggerating bout the size of his penis, but realistically she did not believe that they were. Why would they? The only reason tht made sense would be if they wanted to keep him to themselves, but if that were the case they wouldn't also tell her about how skilled he was with them even on their first times. They were so turned on by the time he took their virginity that the pain they felt was greatly numbed, and completely passed in swift order, and they said that while he was big, their bodies were both able to adapt and take it in, so they were sure hers would be able too as well.
No, Valerie was practically encouraging them to become his lover, and now that Leaf had succumbed to her desire as well, they both seemed to be encouraging her. That just is not consistent with someone that didn't want her competing with them for Death's time and attention, which meant that she could only assume he really was as huge as they claimed.

POV Sabrina Natsume
It was now eleven am and she was returning to the gym, walking while holding hands with Death. She thought that Death was the best Sure, she wasn't blind, and noticed that he sometimes had a look like he was ready to eat her up. She did not mind, though. If he wanted to touch her, she wouldn't have objected, though so far he hadn't asked.
As they were entering the gym, some of the psychics training inside spotted them and promptly dodged them. She was accustomed too this, which was why she liked Death so much, because he wasn't afraid of her and her powers did not work on him. for some unknown reason.
"Thank you for going out with me to have breakfast together." Sabrina commented to Death while leading him into her bedroom.
"Oh, I'm happy to keep you company and to help you better adapt to being around people" Death insisted and smiled at her.
"Death?" She suddenly stepped in front of him with her head tilted a bit upwards to meet his eyes.
"Yes?" Death asked, seeming a bit confused.
"You want to touch me in other places, right?" Sabrina asked, bringing his hand that she was still holding upwards and placing it on one of her E-cup breasts "If it is you, I don't mind them being touched." she grasped his other hand and brought it up to her other breasts as well and placed it upon her.
Sabrina stared into his eyes with curiosity as she felt him begin kneading her breasts like he was kneading bread dough. It felt a bit weird to her, and she suddenly started feeling very warm, but she wasn't certain why.
As her breathing started speeding up, she fell forward towards him, and Death released her breasts and hugged her "Sabrina, are you okay?" he asked.
"I was feeling warm..." Sabrina still panted a little bit, but was starting to recover, and looked up towards his eyes again "It didn't feel bad, though. You can touch them more, just maybe I should lay down first so I don't fall over again?

POV Death Rose (In Saffron City Gym)
Death sighed as he heard Sabrina's offer, mentally reminding himself that this gorgeous woman wasn't the most mentally mature yet, and that he shouldn't take advantage of her. "Why are you willing to let me touch you?" Death asked with curiosity.
"Your nice to me and I feel comfortable with you" Sabrina answered "Being with you makes me feel happy, so I want to make you feel happy too. If touching my breasts makes you feel happy then I am happy to let you touch them."
Death sighed "I guess I should explain to you why I enjoy touching them. Maybe it will help you to better understand your own feelings as well." he cleared his throat and then started telling her about the birds and the bees, and about sex, and about how even though he was very attracted to her sexually, it probably wasn't right for him to take advantage of her naivety for his own gratification.
Sabrina listened to his lesson with genuine interest.

POV Sabrina Natsume
After learning about attraction between men and women, Sabrina started to realize that her insisting upon him sleeping in the same bed as her was likely a huge factor in why he had difficulty hiding his attraction to her, but she still had no intention of letting him sleep elsewhere. She had grown dependent upon him being there with her and no longer liked it when she had to sleep in her bed alone
"So when I started feeling warn and breathing fast, that was arousal'?" Sabrina asked "If I became aroused, does that mean that I like you in a romantic way like you described?"
She saw him shake his head "Not necessarily. Sometimes a persons body can react to such stimulation even if there is no physical attraction. It's just the bodies natural reaction to it. Which is why I need to show more restraint." he explained.
She didn't know for sure how she felt about him yet, but she mentally told herself that she would let Death do whatever he wanted too her, though she did not say that out loud just yet.

ooc - I am going into a slightly political subject matter. If you don't want to read it or if you get easily offended, then please just skip this final section and go to the comments where the poll for the Hoenn Region girls will me up. I am merely explaining here why I've been posting less the past few weeks here.
My chapters were a bit sporadic the past few weeks due to me spending so much time watching the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, and I am relieved that it is finally over, with the best possible conclusion.
Even if there had been a conviction, the judge would have been forced to declare a mistrial because the prosecutor repeatedly violated Rittenhouse's constitutional rights.
First, the DA made a point about Kyle listening to his lawyers and not talking to the police. He inferred to the Jury that by choosing not to speak to the police and DA under advice of counsel, it meant he was guilty. The DA is not allowed to make that claim as to do so violates the 5th amendment right of the accused, and the judge correctly chewed him out for that.
Second, not long after that, the prosecutor tried to introduced evidence in front of the Jury that had already been deemed inadmissible by the judge, which was also grounds for a mistrial.
Third, the prosecutor released a new 'exhibit' once the trial was well under way, which was a drone video, but the video had been cropped, and the version that was given to the defense had one-sixteenth of the pixels that the one the DA had. Note that when one of the DA's laptops was shown in court via screen share/projection, he had two different programs on his laptop, one for cropping videos and one designed for reducing quality of videos, implying that the defense was deliberately given the inferior quality video so that their expert could conclude that the quality was too poor for it to prove anything. The DA only revealed, AND played before the Jury, the superior quality video that the defense never knew existed, during closing arguments when the defense couldn't reply anymore.
The clearer video still wasn't convincing proof, as it was way too far away, and was still blurry, but the DA was able to allege it showed what he wanted to say it showed without the defense having any chance to reply, which was clearly an ambush.
Additionally, the DA repeatedly lied to the jury about being helpless about bringing in certain witnesses because they had a 5th amendment right to silence (which he tried to deny to Kyle), but as a DA he could have offered immunity in exchange for testimony and they would have been forced to answer,
Lastly, all along the DA had known the identity of a witness who was called 'jump kick man' throughout the trial, but failed to reveal this fact to the defense and it only came out after the Jury was deliberating.
For all of these reasons, which were catastrophic constitutional violations, the judge technically should have declared mistrial with prejudice long ago, but for political prudence, because the DA's case was so weak, he let it play out and it led to an acquittal.
Oh, and Kyle Rittenhouse did not 'cross state lines' with a gun and was not 'illegally carrying' He was 17 years old and the law that the DA was using forbade people under 18 from possessing deadly firearms, but there were exceptions in the law. Those under 18 could operate guns with adult supervision while they were hunting and those who were 16 or 17 could possess/carry long rifles with a barrel length of at least 16 inches.
Kyle was 17 and the length of his guns barrel was 17 inches long, making it completely legal for him to carry. The whole case against Kyle Rittenhouse was premised upon him 'illegally' carrying, and the assertion that he couldn't claim self-defense during the commission of a 'crime', but that necessitated ignoring the legal exemptions within that law.
Note that for Kyle to be guilty, the law in question required BOTH exemptions to be false, not one. The generic exemption for all ages and all legal firearms with adult supervision while hunting did not apply to Kyle Rittenhouse, but the exemption for 16-17 year old did, so long as his guns barrel length was long enough, and it was.
Lets look at the so-called 'victims' that chased and were trying to beat or even kill Kyle Rittenhouse.
Joseph Rosenbaum - Rosenbaum was charged by a grand jury with 11 counts of child molestation and inappropriate sexual activity with children, including anal rape. The victims were five boys ranging in age from nine to 11 years old.
Anthony Huber - Many times repeat felon, domestic abuse, battery, 'Use of a dangerous weapon' (this was attached to domestic abuse charges), False Imprisonment, Strangulation and Disorderly Conduct,
Gaige Grosskreutz - While his criminal record isn't anything like the above two, he testified under oath that Kyle Rittenhouse only shot him in the arm after he had pointed his gun at Kyle and moved towards him. And unlike Kyle who was legally carrying, Gaige Grosskreutz was not legally allowed to carry his gun. Wisconsin allowed open-carry, but he had a concealed gun and no concealed carry permit.
What was happening before the altercation started? Kyle saw a group of people light a dumpster on fire and start pushing it into a road towards a gas station right across the street. Now, the rioters claimed they wanted to put it in the street, but Kyle saw them going towards a gas station and grabbed a fire extinguisher and rushed over and put out the fire.
The rioters did not like that and started becoming threatening. A witness testified to seeing Kyle fleeing calling out 'friend' repeatedly and to hearing someone threatening to kill Kyle. he ran towards the police and called out that he was going to the police, and the rioters only got more determined to get their hands on him.
Gaige Grosskreutz even testified that he misheard Kyle and thought that Kyle said that he was working with the police, but still joined the mob in trying to attack Kyle before he could get away. Kyle was hit with a skateboard, was kicked while he was down, and only started shooting once someone tried to forcefully take his gun from him.
Everyone that he shot was either trying to attack him physically or had pointed a gun at him. In spite of how tense the situation must have been for him, there were no random shots that struck non-involved persons, and everything that happened was due to him being victim to violent thugs. He tried t retreat and tried to not have to shoot anyone, but in the end he failed and had to defend himself. This was a clear case of self-defense.
By the way, the DA's claim that he couldn't defend himself if he was breaking the law is also nonsense. The DA acted as though merely breaking any law can be considered provocation and therefore self-dense cannot apply. How is that different then saying to a woman that she was wearing a short skirt and therefore she provoked her assaulter?
If you are going 5 miles per hour over the speed limit and some guy shoots at you, and you pull out a gun and shoot back to defend yourself, should you not be allowed to claim self-defense.
Kyle Rittenhouse was completely legal when he wielded his gun that evening, but even if he hadn't been legally carrying, even if that 16-17 year old exemption did not exist, that would not have been provocation. He was a few months shy of 18 years old and the people attacking him would not have known that he was underage.
The fact is that the exemption does exist, though, I just find it sleazy that the DA tried so hard to go forward with a trial that never should have happened to begin with. Heck, one by one the DA's witnesses imploded and kept verifying that it was self-defense, so if not for the DA's shady manipulations and flagrant violations of Kyle Rittenhouse's constitutional rights to confuse the Jury, I don't think that they would have needed so long to deliberate.
So glad it is finally over.
Edit - To clarify a few things, while Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz were assaulting Kyle Rittenhouse and he was just defending himself, the main instigator was Joseph Rosenbaum, who had just gotten released from a mental hospital apparently the same day as the riot. Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz were not saints, by any means, they were just really dumb and were following the mob that Joseph Rosenbaum had stoked up.
I didn't mention Gaige Grosskreutz record before because as far as I know he only had one offense from slapping his grandmother. I don't know the details surrounding that incident, and it seemed to be an isolated event, thus not something I deemed relevant. Even if Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz were just not thinking and were following the mob, though, that does not mean that Kyle Rittenhouse couldn't defend himself against them.
Second point to add is more detail on what led up to the incident. First off, the night before that riot, an old man was assaulted and her his jaw broken trying to put out a fire started by rioters to his shop. Using a stone or a brick or something the rioter, who did not like the old store owner trying to save his livelihood from the fire, slammed him in the face and broke his jaw, getting him sent to the hospital. His shop ended up completely burnt down with no attempt from the police or fire department being made to stop the rioters or save the store.
Also on this night, a used car dealership that apparently a friend of Kyle's worked at had around a hundred cars burnt by rioters, again with no police or fire department efforts to save them. Kyle had been working at his job in Kinosha the day after these two incidents, and his friend called and asked him to come and help protect the car dealership he worked at in the evenly. Kyle never went home, instead going to a friends house (which was in Kinosha) where he had stored his AR-15, and then went to the dealership with his gun for protection and a first aid kit to treat anyone injured he came upon.
Prior to the fateful incident that night, Kyle Rittenhouse had already given first aid to two rioters who had gotten themselves hurt, showing that he was not some madman bent on killing rioters. If he hated them, then why would he administer first aid to them? No, the fact that he was willing to help even the rioters shows me beyond a reasonable doubt that he brought his weapon, which was legal for him to carry, to defend himself. The assault on that old man was fresh on his mind, so being worried about his safety was completely rational.
